My cousin beat up a guy with a baton when the guy hold a gun to the face of his girlfriend and he didnt get arrested instead the guy did but my cousin was free to go without any problems...
To bad it is illegal to carry around a baton in NYS. i dont know the laws everywhere but if you get caught in ny saying you beat someone even in self defense your going down for having posession of a deadly weapon. I honsetly think it should be able to be used as a self defense product not just fro law enforcement...If people can carry guns they should be able to carry these. Guns are are used for one thing and that is causing injury or death..Same goes for a baton
