The soundtrack to this game goes fast on ebay... hard to find for less than $50!!! IF the music is the same as CD quality... get this game on Wii! Load time for the actual CD game is frustrating.
The scrolling on the original Ys III TGDuo was for some reason horrible.
A better Zelda style RPG is Neutopia.
Gate of Thunder and sequel Lords of Thunder were good. Blazing Lazers was more fun!
For strategy games, I loved Military Madness which was included on the japanese sequel Neo Nectaris (CD)

actually, why he can't heal is because in the main dangerous areas the game makes so he doesnt heal, and the only way to heal in those place is by finding the holy cape of healing in the ice area

i love your opinon about hte game!, the ys3 is sidescrolling and offers hack and slash elements, give that one a try to see if it meets your fancy (play the genesis one the best game)

this is an old game (try 1987) and one of the first proper action RPGs; they had to think of something, and push-the-monster is pretty basic to understand as well as fast to execute

i love the fire area. i hate the area with the statues where u have to return the books xD...also Lords of Thunder was an amazing game, Bonk's Adventure and Bonk Returns (or somethin like that) was also really good, but more childish.

this game is the sickest game ive ever played honestly. i had it for my dads old TurboGraphx (or watever its called lol) and i love it! storyline is amazing, controls r VERY fun, and items u can use and pick up is so sick. characters and sound r phenominal! i like this better than the xbox360 lol
