  • so because someone is a druggie or prostitute it's okay to just give them drugs and run horrible tests on them? yeah okay fuck you CIA. MKUltra was pure stupidity. The CIA ran tests that these professors had already done, in a more secure environment. MKUltra was pure torture to the victims.

  • This Professor Richard Swineburne needs to learn how to shut his ignorant mouth up. He doesn't even know what he's talking about. He was the most annoying part of this whole documentary.

  • for you all who thinks that your government wouldn't never do shit to people here you go. Now stop think osama did everything on 911. Your government are run by sick fucks who worship satan but you don't have to take my word for it. keep thinking Uncle sam loves you hahahaha

  • @youngfred116 Worship Satan? Worship God is what they do, and I see no difference.

  • @cocoskanin yup they worship satan and if you don't see a difference between good and evil meaning God and the devil then I couldn't have a normal discussion with you.

  • @youngfred116 Ditto.

  • Richard Swineburn should forget god when talking about LSD.

  • what is insanity anyway? how many fucking people actually believe in "sky fairies"? in this world, and not to mention killing over them. People are fucking worthless to me honestly. people cut down rain forests and turn it into paper which they call "money" and pass it around like it is actually worth something, and everything that is good and green in this world can be shoved around for a "profit". People are TWACKED and have fucked up the greatest thing offered in this universe, BEING A HUMAN

  • @hempartist420 Looks like someone shit the bed this morning. :P

  • @chupathingy99 wocka wocka

  • @hempartist420 People do these things as they are enslaved by the global banking system we all have been deceived into believing in a false reality.

  • The passage 1:01 made me think of the ministry of silly walks sketch by Monty Python.

  • Never have expected sense from you anyway.

  • this looks awesome

  • "Taking drugs in order to be in the presence of God is barging into the presence of God" - Swinburne

That, I think, is false. I think the truth is that drugs are a different means to the same ends - a powerful hallucination of divine sorts. This can either be achieved through the strong sense of euphoria created by deeply religious experiences, or through drugs.

"Just because you feel it, doesn't mean it's there" - Thom Yorke

  • fuck the cia, fuck buisnessmen, fuck scientists

  • @jcnota13 why dont they drug themselves? who are they to force a life changing and poetientially life destroying experience onto people, just because they think they are worth less - I hate the CIA

  • prof richard pencil dick is annoying me

  • @dandamanwitdaplan92 tell me about it... what a pompus douchebag

  • DJs and musicians/conductors are our modern day shamans

  • @audioslutuk an interesting statement - DJs?No conductors? No

    Muscians (of recent times) yes, i think so;

    -Jim Morrison

    -Ian Curtis

    -John Lennon

  • he contradicts himself he says the cia wanted to see the effects on world leaders and diplomats and then right after he said they tested on drug addicts and prostitute

  • the captions don't say the right words--read it for yourself while watching it!!!

  • CIA were scumbags for doing this. How would they have felt if this was done to them.

  • I've been meditating for awhile now and I can ensure you that taking a psychedelic (i.e. shrooms) can produce the same results. The only thing that's different is that your brain hasn't been given time to build up a tolerance to the effects. "Barging into the presence of God" is just silly to say. We are God, worshiping ourselves lol... Too shy to walk into the presence of ourselves?

  • lol at Uncle Kesey's musical instrument at 5:03

  • "Experience is not the point of it."

I couldnt disagree more. Experience is exactly the point of existence.

    We are observers after all.

  • @drkroman9 You caught that, too? How absurd and ignorant a statement that was. If experience is not the point of life, then there is no point. I prefer experiences that have no established reference point, where everything is new and strange, and may be defined by the Observer Self as facets of reality. You, sir or madam, are an attentive observer. I like Eckhardt Tolle's discourse on the Observer in The Power Of Now. A couple of my own: Infinity equals One, and eternity is in this tiny moment.

  • @drkroman9 if you want to take this from a philosophical point of view, religion wants to mediate between experience and the individual and to argue that the only valid instances to experience this sort of thing are in the mediation of religion and so a metaphysics such as that to rule over the individual

  • 3:43-4:02 shits fucked up

  • 1:11 dude is a tool

  • The cia are like supervillains

  • fuck the cia for doing that shit on unwilling people

  • They didn't only use LSD on mental patients. Imagine being a soldier on a battlefield, your friends falling all around you, bullets whizzing by, and explosions blasting from all sides. Now imagine a plane flying overhead and spraying liquid LSD down on the battlefield. It is absorbed through your skin and you begin tripping. If that isn't hell, I don't know what is.

  • hahaha. spray the drug on enemy troops

  • the world kindof gone the wrong way since then, people need to bemore open minded.

  • Look they even say the cia is a crime agency. speak on

  • The guy from the last episodes with glasses kicks ass.

  • my husband always says there's no such thing as a bad trip, just bad trippers...i cant help but feel sorry for the mental patients given experimental LSD, you need a sturdy brain and attachment to reality to handle this drug!

  • @grindelia Isn't it crazy that for the rest of us it's criminal to drug someone without their knowledge? I agree, that must have been freaky for the patients that didn't know what was going on.

  • Is it strange that I think I have similar experience with marijuana although not as intense?? However, that happens only on some occasions when I was so baked and "daydreamed"... I wonder if thats normal?

  • @mtksbctk Me too. It's when I don't smoke for a while. When I describe it to an acid droppin vet, they just tell me NO ITS NOTHING LIKE ACID. But I swear sometimes I go places by just smoking weed.

  • @JackassBoy1337 fuckin pussy

  • @JackassBoy1337 Absolutely NOTHING like Acid. They're not lying. You can hallucinate and "go places" with really strong weed... but once you take acid you realize you were just looking out the window... Acid takes you there.

  • im suprised that this wasint putting down lsd like how everyother program about drugs would

  • get baked and watch this with youtubes transcribed audio thing.

its hilarious, especially when albert hoffman is talking.

  • is that gene hackman at 5.20?

  • that's Ken Kesey, writer of One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest and member of the Merry Pranksters

  • Visions of the saints? Does living with a bunch of guys or girls and praying all the time, reading and writing for 30+ years, and so on, sound like an psychedelic experience? and look at some of the stuff they "see" and then try to impose on the world.....(like Joseph Smith). a bunch of us lived at a Ken Kesey "Electric Acid Kool Aid test" house. It was interesting. It was 4 years after wards. c.1969

  • your a dumb dumb

  • @trumpfishh That comment (made in humour) was designed to snare morons like you, you moron. Just surprised it took so long. I may 'skin up' to celebrate!

  • @topholewhat0 Wow so it was trap. Well played you fuck head

  • 40$ a day to take acid? wow dream job

  • @volcom13xx fuckin A!

  • LSD is a healthy Drug with a Good trip, & if you dont have a Good Trip, Mabye your not Healthy.

  • put the lsd in your pee hole

  • Funny in America, It simply will not play... (shrug) Think Maybe there is an issue?

  • WELL i think it's only the point of view AMERICAN MILTARY LOOBY and the POLITICS PEOPLE that come with !!

And the part of this dynamic NATION that support them.

In fact it seem that hte part of this population that support it , it huge and close to the Catholic and Christain ideas.

    It's weird, isn'it !!!

  • thats cruel how america wants to use something that can bring understanding so they can kill others

  • LSD does not kill, it's almost impossible to ob on it

  • Lol, you must be high right now. "ob"

  • i wrote od after so your the one who must be high

  • I dont wanna be a grammar nazi but "youre"

  • it's actually You're :)

  • OD*

  • SWISS--Discover it. Commercialise it. BRITISH--Try it, then relate it to a possible path of higher consciousness and better understanding of God. AMERICAN--Secretly test it on unsuspecting innocents, with a view to weaponisation. This is proof that the agents of the Devil reside among America's military ''intelligence'' and political ''elite''. Absolutely evil, twisted bastards. The word ''Paranoid'' just doesn't come close to describing their condition. A God-forsaken lot.

  • What the american government did doesn't make all of america bad? Is that what you are getting at? I'am not trying to be rude in this reply by the way just wandering. Thank you.

  • No, the devil resides ''among'' them.....I'm not stupid enough to tar all Americans with the same brush. ;0)

  • You're stupid enough to believe in a little red devil who has horns.

  • I don't see the Devil like that at all, and I don't recall saying I did.... I think you're confused.... go watch some more Jonathan Ross shows, and leave the deep stuff to the grown-ups.

  • @Crustalshift You are religious. I dont waste time with morons who believe that nonsense for which there is no evidence! Knucklehead.

  • We should treat those with religion with a level of respect. That is of course that the person is logical.

  • @DerrenBrown100 Wrong again Einstein, I'm not religious, but I do consider myself Spiritual. You really need to STOP judging others by your own confused yardstick.

  • Spiritual please!! You're spiritual because it feels warm & fuzzy.

One of the great mysteries of science - how does a universe that starts off as dust end up with intelligent life? How does order emerge from disorder?

It's a mindbending, counterintuitive and for many people a deeply troubling idea. But the science behind much of beauty and structure in the natural world and discovers that far from it being magic or an act of God, it is in fact an intrinsic part of the laws of physics.

  • @DerrenBrown100 hey Derren check out david wilcock

  • No that guy is a knucklehead.

  • you sir, have a cavalier usage of the term 'knucklehead' i fancy

  • @topholewhat0 I'm not listening to someone who thinks David Wilcock delivers a credible source of information.

  • @DerrenBrown100 obviously you are!

  • @DerrenBrown100 ... *cough your trying way too hard*

  • why do you think we have such a strong military

  • 5:13

  • yip thats it america = criminal

  • Wtf is with the audio? It is so unbalanced that i can hear only a damn tractor's engine when the guy is speaking...

  • only consider trying lsd in the company of close friends you've known for a long time -- not a date. go to a quiet place, perhaps a park on a sunny day. bring food and music, some paper and pencil, maybe some crayons or markers. Blotter acid is unlikely to be adulterated, so avoid anything off the street. worst experience I ever had was some alleged mescaline, turned out to be PCP -- nasty. Avoid crowds, workplaces, and by no means go somewhere you need to leave within eight hours.

  • $40 to take LSD? Sign me up!

  • lol 5-10 a hit in canada0

  • @zombieiscool its like $1 to $5 for one hit.

  • @zombieiscool oh, shoulda watched the video first lol

  • hahahaha, Kesey reminds me so much of McMurphy.

  • @bladderdiva

funny you say that, jack nicholson did lsd lol

  • have the CIA ever done anything good?

  • @RelaxItsJustAFlare Depends on who you ask, but they are the governments goons

  • @RelaxItsJustAFlare; Try to find the founders of the CIA :) XD

  • @RelaxItsJustAFlare one thing apparent;y

  • @RelaxItsJustAFlare

    yes.. distribute lsd

  • @RelaxItsJustAFlare Well, of course they have. They made LSD widely available to the American public. Other than that, it's a matter of opinion. Ask any CIA agent if the CIA's done anything good, and he'll tell you about all the wonderful coups they've initiated, all the revolutions they've instigated, all the things that promote the success of the military/corporate/medical complex. In reality, the CIA is a tool of the Illuminati, performing its Machiavellian purpose of keeping us at war.

  • First prepare by learning to meditate single pointedly and fast. Practice the middle way first. Study first..

  • I wanted to take a picture of my halucination. Then I realised thats inpossible.

  • Haha I was about to tell you that would be a good idea.

But then I realized I'm still high.

  • I do not see how researchers or scientists or anyone else can compare LSD effects to mystical experiences in any way if they haven't experienced both.

LSD was "my" drug in the early 70's and I took stacks of it. That mean I know a lot about what the LSD experience is, but it does NOT mean I know anything about mystical experiences.

  • The common denominator between LSD and other hallucinogens and mystical experiences is ego loss plain and simple. Ego loss can be induced through psychoactive chemicals and plants, deep meditation and contemplation or life crisis. Each f these have a different quality. IMO people like Ram Dass are the true authorities on this subject. Check out some of his lectures that are available on youtube.

  • Hi augustjohn,

I still don't know about the connection but I DO know about ego loss through LSD use. Although "ego loss" looks nice and apparently-easy-to-understand on a computer screen, it's a different ballgame altogether once you're in there.

I will certainly go check out Ram Dass, thanks.

  • @fripouille69

There is no evidence that mystical experiences are what they are claimed to be. Much like with God, there just isn't any evidence. We can compare a mescaline experience to a personal revelatory experience as an academic study and conclude that there are generally similarities. This lends support to the idea that people don't have true visions, there is just a chemical abnormality occurring in the brain that alters perception. I like to keep things within a scientific context.

  • @embpac

Yes, I would certainly agree with that. Moreover we were well aware of the scientific/chemical element at the time. I remember a pretty freaky trip with friends during which one of them had "seen the egg on the blue boat and I have to join it" so he wanted to climb out the (very high up) window. We stopped him.

The next morning another friend turned up and, after hearing our story, said nonchalantly "No big deal, it's only a chemical reaction."

    :)

  • empbac, you may want to check out Rick Strassmans "DMT The Spirit Molecule", They have segments you can watch on youtube just type it in the search box. It is based on research that took place at the University of New Mexico's School of Medicine in Albuquerque. It makes a proposal that DMT can allow our brains to perceive dark matter or parallel universes plus a suggestion that DMT affects the brain's ability to receive information, rather than generating those perceptions themselves.

  • That documentary was a little boring, I think. Mostly about Egyptian symbology, etc, and not enough about pharmacology. There is a LOT we don't yet know about psychedelics, granted, but there is still no strong evidence to support the idea that anything supernatural, mystical, or 'real' occurs within a trip. So DMT is excreted from the pineal gland, correct? How and why and for what purpose? Does the DMT cause dreaming or is it a peripheral or after-effect? So many questions, so few answers...

  • The actual documentary won't be coming out until sometime this year. The questions you are asking about DMT are addressed in the Strassmans book which is available at Amazon "DMT: The Spirit Molecule" along with greater detail of the actual study. I would say there is no conclusive evidence that anything "real" occurs, but there is a great deal of phenomena that warrants rational inquiry which is met with great resistance in this field of study.

  • cia drugging people unknowingly, good grief

what aren't they telling us about chemtrails

  • LSD made me quite cigs. first time i did it was at a phish concert. best concert eveeerrrr. walking through nyc after the concert was amazing so fucking biggg

  • In 1969 "we" got one of the "Electric Kool Aid Acid Test houses near Skylonda. It was interesting. They were mostly gone. Poncho Pillow was there.... We got pure LSD from a guy at Stanford Linear Accelerator Center. There are stories

  • Most of the comments on this site, with a few notable exceptions (you know who you are), remind me of the dialog from characters in the movie "Idiocracy" Look it up, see it, and then you will know what I mean.

As for LSD, it should be required after graduation from college. Just once, simply to re-educate and to place the world in perspective.

  • idiocracy rulez and i totally agree you need to expand your perception of reality

  • hi augustjohn!

could u kindly give me a link to the bill w story,as i,m a psychonaut recovering kinda dude.

    cheers carey

  • Switzerland discover a hallucinogenic drug that can be used to make 100's of people temporaraly mad. England takes this does research on it. Then america takes it and trys to use it for war. Typical

  • Maybe we are all insane sober, and when we take lsd we become sane?

  • stfu, you don't have deep incite.

  • @silentwulfsfan Albert Hoffman discovered LSD not Switzerland -.-

  • MK ULTRA!? Shiit uncovered another deep meaning to Muse songs...

  • that dude in the beginning of this part has NEVER had sex. not once.

  • thats hofmann dipshit, he sythesized lsd. im sure he got tons of ass for that

  • Audio sounds like Darth Vader :D

  • i live in tahoe and we all grow it here, so not many people buy it...we mostly just share we dont really think of it like something worth money it's so common(unless you're a tourist...then some people will probably make you pay..but hey $30 8th's thats still cheap haha)i guess you can just say it's not treated like a "drug" here....more like therapy for the mind and soul

  • pay $40 a day to take lsd?? Sign me upppp...

  • me to, what a way to earn a living!!!

  • There is no anthropomorphic, personal God. The imagined, human like God with all the human emotions and obsession with the human race is just a human construct on what people want God to be.

  • richard swinburne (see 1:10) can suck my balls, what an egotistical cunt.

  • The bitter fuck sounds like the Emperor from the Star Wars series

  • his opinion should not have even been included in this informational documentary

  • The new look usually isn't a bad thing. The hallucinations caused by psychedelics kinda forces you to face any problems you might have and you overcome them in your visions. For instance, there was a story of someone who had cancer and went to Peru to drink ayahuasca, which has the same effect of LSD. During his vision, he saw clocks and him basically worrying about how long he has. The clocks reversed, and he came out not worrying about when he was going to die and just lived like he used too.

  • Pigeonwarrior, I think what you're failing to realize is that psychedelics focus on your unconscious mind. If you already believed their was no God, or questioning about any type of God, then you'll either come across him in your vision, or your subconscious mind will just show that there is none. I'm very sure if a heavily religious person took a psychedelic, they'd see God in their vision. Everyone's different, but I think everyone should atleast try 1 psychedelic. It changes your life.

  • When you say it changes your life, did it do so in a positive way? I have a mate who was heavily effected with drugs, e.g . Ecstasy, alcohol, cocaine. All of it. He was talking about a huge change in his life - his drug addiction, and he dramatically changed after he did LSD with his family - he wasn't wasting hundreds of dollars night clubbing, and on alcohol etc. He said it changed his life as well - matter of fact, everywhere I read on LSD, I hear the same thing. Is the new look a bad thing?

  • I think your mate came to reality that doing excess of drugs and alcohol is a waste of money.

I wouldn't link the drugs to a change of life. I think it is something that he came to while he was sober

  • The irony of hallucinogens is that they work wonders with addicts. Terrence Mckenna said "LSD doesn't cure alcoholism, it cures stupidity". Bill W the founder of AA used LSD and wanted to hand it out at all AA meetings in the 50's (True Story). There is enough hard data to back up the claim that hallucinogenic experiences are life changing. unless someone is borderline,, these changes are very positive and life affirming.

  • @augustjohn hi man, could u give me a link for the bill w story as i,m an aa member and this will help me with my stepwork enormously.Thanx man.

  • "Aldous Huxley. The author of Brave New World and The Doors of Perception introduced Wilson to LSD-25. The drug rocked Wilsons world. He thought of it as something of a miracle substance and continued taking it well into the 60s. As he approached his 70th birthday, he developed a plan to have LSD distributed at all AA meetings nationwide. The plan was eventually quashed by more rational voices, and a few years later the Federal government made the point moot by making the drug illegal."

  • @flamintitsgurl alcohol is a drug !

  • professor swinburne is a clever man yet he speaks about things which he does not know nor has he experienced, it would be like a man explaining childirth having never experienced it themselves you cant take a stance against or for somthign without having experienced both sides, that is the only way to gain a true perspective on a certain issue

  • agreed

religion is all bullshit anyway, ive done lsd loads of times and i have been shown there is no god. when we die that is it.

    END OF

  • @pigeonwarrior:hey i'm not religious either(infact it literally makes me ill with all the hypocrit's and just plain heartless people)...but tha'ts a sad way to live life dude "when you die that's it!"...but if that's how you feel, i cant argue, i just think there's gotta at least be SOMETHING more to/about life...other than dying and rotting, anyway thats just what i think

  • I agree. He is not qualified to know whether one who has taken a substance is "equipped to know the experience for what it is" simply because, by his own admission, he hasn't had the experience himself! His idea of what "it" is, seems to come from a religious bias rather than a "knowing" from direct experience. The "point" of the "experience" is about awareness of other realities which as many who have done it state has made them more open spiritually, more aware and more universally connected.

  • It's close minded people like the guy at 1:18 that make life a drag.

  • the american government banned lsd when they realised they couldnt control people with it

  • down town

  • where do i find lsd ?

  • from your neighbor hood cereal dealer

  • were do u buy ur weed?

  • thats were u get lsd

  • not everyone who sells weed also sells lsd, lsd is hard as fuck to find.

  • yeah you can't just go out and "find" lsd or any other psychedelic, they almost have to come to you, so to say

  • nah, shrooms are pretty easy to find.

  • you can always break into somekind of military research laboratory. ;)=

  • @rabiddog314 psychedelic drugs are very easy to find, not lsd but many many other nice stuff.

  • i hella would not wanna drop with that dude at 1:35 ...bad vibes :(

  • This is why I hate the CIA because you'll never know when you are being experiment by them........

  • christianity is a cult not a religion.

  • religion is a cult

  • oo thats cause you say so ? How about you respect the rights of others. Keep your religion and ur ideas to yourself and share when its not harmful to someone else. Be a human being for goodness sake,.

  • christianity was formed to brainwash you.you are a shell of a human being, you still believe in santa and the easter bunny too?satanity is a religion based on self freedom and peace. but you probly knew nothing about that, satan is the bringer of the sun.

  • unferoathlover y dont you follow ur own dumbass advice and keep ur religious propaganda bullshit to yourself. k thanks

  • Comment removed

  • I hate people that mix religion with education.

  • There's no point in teaching religion in schools, it's useless. All they're doing is pushing their religion unto others. I know that if I were taught religion in high school I would've started a shitstorm.

  • religeon is whatever the believer wants it to be

  • The kinds of pressures that can come about are immense, so I don't think that practically fighting for your life and sanity is fairly described as "barging into the presence of God". 1:20 to 1:30

  • Amazing. Ox ford University. The best, except, perhaps, for Cambridge, and they have a Professor believing in God. I suspect Cambridge have Professors believing in God, maybe even Allah, as well.

And these are supposed to be 'enlightened, highly intellectual Universities'. And they make conclusions about LSD without even taken it themselves.

Well, that says a lot about Oxford and Cambridge, doesn't it?

'Top' universities believing in the absurbity of God. Bring back the Polytechnics.

  • your comment is so ridiculous and ignorant. You feel you're so open minded but you don't even know basic facts. For starters, God & Allah is the same thing: Allah simply means GOD in Arabic. Secondly, universities were started by monastic orders, and of course each reputable university has a theology department.

  • I maintain - the study of religion with the view that God is real is a waste of intellectual ability.

The fictitious Christian God and the fictitious Allah are not the same - the two belief systems are like political parties and each end of the spectrum.

  • Yeah Albert is right, it is a CRIME to administer these drugs without awareness that one is ingesting a drug that would have them hallucinate and have far out thoughts.

  • well then Albert was the first one to commit the crime as so was the first human to smoke marihuana, all hail crime then

  • DISCOVERY is something MUCH different than, knowing the effects, have someone ingest such a powerful psychoactive drug unknowingly. Like I said, it's a crime to give it to someone that doesn't know they're takin it.
