@SuperMoney8 A lot of people Aframe when they try to edge too much too soon, try to be progressive and gradually roll both skis onto the edges don't try too hard at the start of the tern.
I agree with @MrMadheadmike the turns are very unnatural. The angulation that you talk about achieving needs to come from rolling the ankles. Your upper body does need to be quite but not stiff. Your hips should flex leaving your shoulders level and your hands AWAY from the ground, not like yours which get closer and closer with speed. Your form is great but could be improved; the turns you make aren't nearly as smooth as they could be
@mmcg325 My legs are leaning more than my upper body but there is no reason for my shoulders to stay horizontal all of the time, we are not in the 90s any more
These are great videos, I've been skiing for many years and you are certainly helping me to correct my faults. I like your "static" postions as it makes it clear what should be happening to the legs or the upper body. Great work and many thanks
@abarnybox This is what I commented on the previous video. It looks stiff and unnatural, which is not something you want to teach beginners or intermediates. I'm glad I can already ski, and am not just learning from this.
@alexday355 I was just putting forward my opinion. I'm not saying that my skiing is perfect, just that I learnt from someone else in a different way. No need to get arsey about it.
Great video !
I have ski problem: A frame. I'm trying Javelin Turn now.
Could you tell me how to fix it? Appreciated
