Hello I am Humberto Salinas the grandson of Guadalupe Caseres Duran emilio Caceres sister. My grand mother always used to tell about Emilio and ernie.
Hello I am the daughter in law of the Emilio Caceres that played this music. I am glad to see your interest in Emilio's music inspired you to created this video. My husband Emilio Caceres Jr., also thanks you for your interest in his father music.
@TheLadi333 I first heard this on KFRD 980 Rosenberg, Texas in the 1950s and have always thought it was the perfect music for the ranchlands of Northern Mexico/South Texas. Thanks to Emilio Caceres for his contributions to our wonderful "Tex-Mex" culture. Do you have any information on Herrera/Quiroga?
@TheLadi333 Hello, I am a jazzviolinist from Holland. I am playing in my concerts Emilo Caceres' "Jig in G". Does Emilio Caceres Jr. also plays the violin? Is there a discography of Emilio's recordings? Greetings from Holland.
@bertsmits They were not a "recording" orchestra. They mainly played dances and gigs. I do not know of any discography of their recordings. There were but a few ever made.
A day brightener, smile maker. Once again you blow me away with another great download!

Wow, then the band goes into Pajarillo barranquenyo, Jesusita en Chihuahua and then Cuatro milpas.
I wonder if the drummer, Alex Acosta was of the Instrument-maker Acostas in San Anto.
