  • @AZIN72: Tika tou korero e hoa - I had a few concerns regarding the choice of colour for our taniwha - especially considering that it was filmed kei ro te ngahere - unfortunately, time constraints and availability played a factor in it all - if we were to go back - I know things would be very different - but still love it for what it is... Big ups to you for your awesome comment and honesty cuzzie - thank you :)

if you look it up not only dose makutu mean to bewitch but it also means black magic. Kangakanga is also to bewitch or curse.

  • Yes, the whole thing's pretty frightening, isn't it?! The cast and crew of this film have done a fantastic job of freaking their audience out in every way. (mwahahahaha)

  • I remember the night we filmed the evening scene of the Taniwha's resurrection... James Whangapirita who was our cam op that week definitely got freaked out... I'm sure a lot of the other crew did... I couldn't wait to get home and wash all that body paint off. Lmao!

  • Oh my God!!! What is this doing here??? Lol. All those hours of body painting... Sheesh!!!
