It's so weird that a young generation of Latino's in the lowrider culture have connected with this classic soul music. It's evidence that their grandparents (and not their parents) have been the strongest influence in their lives.
@TheIntruders Actually my Grandparents didn't listen to this music they were already in their late 50's when this song came out, I got my Love for Soul music from growing up listening to it on the radio and my Mom bumping Sam Cooke and Aretha Franklin all the time
We used to play this song every Christmas. For some reason those bells playing makes one think of Christmas dinner and good times. Great post.
