If anybody can think of a band other than Anthrax who could show up to a show like Hip Hop Honors and completely blow the lid off of the place, speak now...liars.
Thumbs up if you wish you were in that crowd just so you could sneak up onto one of the runways and stagedive on all the unsuspecting hip hop fans to turn it into a real show.
this song in so many ways represents what music should be about, having fun and feeling good together, feeling free to enjoy other artists and overstepping the boundaries of genres
SOOOO AWESOME! hahaahaha! omg those hip hop fans mustve pisst themselves. Imma a hip hop fan but i mostly like metal. But like the rap purist musta been like WUUUUUUUUUUUUUAAA
Well, it obviously wasn't an Anthrax's gig - Hip Hop Awards. But it felt quite warmly to know that Chuck and Flave didn't forget their old friends and fellow new yorkers from the Thrax...
The band was started by the same two guys who are on this segment: Scott Ian and Charlie Benante, from Queens and The Bronx respectfully... Both are the well-known innovators in thrash metal community.
"They're still caling the band Anthrax with only two members left. "
Not true. Four of the five today's Anthrax members are the same guys who played in the band in early Eighties.
Plus - who gives a fuck? The rock-mastodons Deep Purple are still being called Deep Purple despite that the only original member is their drummer. Nevertheless they've still been making kick-ass music.

this is cool to see both "bands" play together, but for some reason, the audio is very noisy-distorted. Not really pleasant to listen to.
