@76rwk Really?! well pleased to meet you! Its an honor to meet a descendent of a person who received a bullet from President Jeffersons vice president! :) Your 6x grandfather although one of the founding father wanted an American monarchy and an American King.....luckily the Jeffersonian idea prevailed but Jefferson would be mad today because Hamiltons ideas of big and strong government are now in place sadly
Served that bastard right! He spread a false rumour that Aaron Burr had slept with his own daughter, whom Burr loved more than anything else in the World. That's what that Duel was really all about, and that's why Burr shot to Kill!
In the Article I Section 10 of the Constitution: ... "NO STATE SHALL ENTER INTO ANY TREATY, ALLIANCE, OR CONFEDERATION; GRANT LETTERS OF MARQUE AND REPRISAL; COIN MONEY; EMITS BILLS OF CREDIT; MAKE ANY THING BUT GOLD AND SILVER COIN A TENDER IN PAYMENT OF DEBT..."
If the US never had the Income tax nor the Federal Reserve we wouldn't be in the mess we are in right now. If the Mexican Empire tried to take a weak US state, do you really think We The People is going to let that happen???!!!
@moctezuma112 If the first central bank hadn't been made then the USA would have remained a nation with a strict agrigarian economy that would have made international trade impossible and expansion difficult without the influx of money. Not to mention that without the power of the central goverment more states would have felt inclined to leave the union forming smaller nations which meant that in later years the Mexican Empire may have annexed these smaller weaker states.
@moctezuma112 He was my 6xgreat grandfather SHAME ON YOU!!!!!!!!!!! and he also helped then constitution not ONLY did he help write the articals he's the one ENDED it and he wanted the power tax but he was out voted and if u think tax is bad the government NEEDS it fir an army the keeps you safe and third you should never ever be glad at the death of some one
Hamilton's wish was to have a strong central government starting with a central bank. He officially got his wish in 1913 when the Federal Reserve was created causing massive inflations, recessions, depressions and the coming to the end of the US Dollar. Or maybe he was fulfilling the wishes of International Bankers. Sadly he didn't die sooner to prevent his influence from spreading
And as for you, according to your massive grammer mistakes, yes you do qualify as Hamilton's outcome
@moctezuma112 If you study history or economics, you'll see that there were also massive inflations, recessions, depressions, etc. before 1913...many other factors than the Federal Reserve affect economic fluctuations. Indeed, both times that the National Bank's charter (the Federal Reserve's predecessor) was not renewed, our economy experienced significant downturns.
the Rockafellers and the Morgans caused the crises in order to push for a permanent National Bank know as the Federal Reserve. Yes it generated economic growth because it printed money. gold was worth $20 an ounce before the federal reserved. today its worth $1,720 an ounce and will rise higher this year. a silver dime can buy a gallon of gasoline. I guess u see that as great economic growth. I see it as inflation and the coming to a global depression. Thats Hamilton for you.
@moctezuma112 While you are entitled to your opinions about the shortcomings of the Federal Reserve, please do not ignore its major role in generating the incredible economic growth that the United States has experienced.
Also, it amazes me that in your unnecessary and rude personal attack to his descendant you not only make no sense (Hamilton was one of the most eloquent writers of his time), you also misspell grammar. Please keep it classy.
You did a great job on this video :) Ive always been very interested in the lives of both Aaron Burr and Alexander Hamilton. They were both very great men. Its too bad they couldnt settle their differences a better way.
