A classic in an age when vocalists really needed to carry on a tune. People could understand the words and would sing along. He was part of the good old days, days we may not see again. I treasure his work even though I wasn't a country song enthusiast at the time. We salute you Billy, you will be missed. You stood for all good things.

Great tune! I have the actual 45 of this. Billy just passed away on 8/10/11. A great talent will be missed.
