  • The "tank" pulling the hetzer is a WZT-3 - armoured recovery vehicule based on t-72

  • So they needed a tank to pull a tank which is pulling a tank??

  • is it worth all that work?

  • That would look nice in my front yard....

  • BALTICK SEE ITS IN POLAND YOU STUPID NOOBS

  • @malopolPoLska zamnkij morde, synku

  • what was the tank pulling the Hetzer out of the water?

  • @McSpizzy looks like a vt55

  • @RetroPaintball I think you're right. It looks exactly like that.

  • hetzer

  • Hetzer's always hetz, even in water.

  • Where are its tracks?

  • Hezter wanted a swim?

  • T-54 mounted MBLT pulled him))) lol . Russin power

  • Thats one way to keep a tank out of enemy hands but how the hell it end up so deep? Did the crew give it a full speed running start?

  • @roaklin coast changed in 70y, i think ground was closer back then.

  • @InterceptorAce - ololo. Балтийское море просто покрывается зимой льдом. все на много проще как кажется. а немец на этой "черепашке" утонул хаха

  • Well, taking a german vehicle out to do some drifting on the beach is normally fun.

But a Hetzer? Those German kids....

  • @YoughMama Well,what can you do?After all,hetzers gonna hetz.

  • Hetzers gonna hetz!

    very cool!

  • Thank God for a "mute" button

  • @55chevy4x4 Actually, thank the programmers, god had nothing to do with this. Trust me.

  • Have fun taking your new tank out for a drag!

  • He doesn't want to go...can't u c that ;)

  • can you say"truck pulling"

  • Looks more like a self propelled gun than a tank.

Standing a bit close to that winch wire under strain though.

  • 01:31 hehe jeszcze kluczyki :D got keys :)

  • its german stell...bring it back we get 20 euros for that :-P

  • Germans took a Czech medium tank 1930s model chassis cut the turret off it built that sloping armor on three sides and stuck a 76mm gun on it, at least that is what I recall of the afv. You might check out the Band of Brothers episode where the FJ counterattacks outside Carentan, I believe, to see an assault gun similar to this in action.

  • hey what is the big floating tank thing

  • just find the key and it shuld be fine! i mean it is German engineered after all

  • 4:50 and it still rolls...amazing

  • Yeah I think that's another Russian Stug III like in the other video. I wonder how it got off the beach that far. I think the ocean is coming in and taking that island and the beaches are getting smaller around the world. Ocean is rising since WWII.

  • i,d like to know how it got there and how it was found.

  • @boleynali some one stepped on it

  • I think that's a russian tank, not german see the wheels and the bands

  • @terajoaldiome

    its german u idiot..

  • @terajoaldiome It's Hetzer... And hetzer is GERMANY tank... Write in wikipedia HETZER and you will se same tank.

  • @terajoaldiome Mate dont make comments like that on here there are some right tank experts! Its a Heter!

  • @terajoaldiome

    its german, not russian.

  • Great job. Terrific effort.

  • Hetzers gona hetz....

  • Here's a good idea....lets stand nice and close to watch, so that when the cable snaps, it's like a cheese cutter.

  • Nice job !! RESTORE THAT JAGDPANZER !!!!!!

  • Great to see this video. So much Axis power equipment was lost or destroyed after the war just a real pleasure to watch the Hetzer emerge from the water. Well done and thanx for sharing it here

  • emerging to do battle with the allies:)

  • @BongWaterSkinDiver

    why restore it?

why not put it in a museum in this state so you can see what time did to it

it would indeed be impossible to restore if you want to keep it in original state

youll certainly have to weld new metal plating in some thin parts

  • Crazy !! who the hell was in charge of safety ?? standing right next to a tight steel wire is idiotic..

  • When it was coming out of the water it was like having a dog that didn't want to go anywhere and just kept resisting lol.

  • The cinematographer needs to take a film course. His constant fading to black is very disconcerting. He needs to learn how to edit and to even "edit" his film while shooting his film.

  • Comment removed

  • How this tank ended in the water? some ship was sunk with tanks?

  • i had an idea the caterpillar was going to help the tank recovery vehicle.

01:31 funny looking tank, looks like a diver. lol

  • I thought that the tractor thing with the bull dozer blade was the recovered tank. Makes much more sense now.

  • you could still use the restored hetzer in the coming world war 3

  • German engineering !!!

    Still functional !!

  • interesting shizzle

  • Hetzers gotta hetz....

  • it looks like a turtle coming out of the sea

  • Fishing for tanks dear?

  • And this is how Germany lost the war.

  • Nothing a bit of WD-40 couldn't sort out :P great job by the way :)

  • german?Slovak tank T38+german design!

  • 1:07 I REALLY HOPE there was no tension on that steel cable...if so and it snapped, a bunch of people would have not had a very good day.

  • "Haha, I wonder what those guys are doing, did those idiots crash their car?"

    *out comes a German Jagdpanzer*

    "WHAT THE!?"

  • Nice and shiney on bottom

  • In remarkably good condition considerig the 50+ years in sea water. :) Nice.

  • german tank: the weels still working :D

  • poland yeah

  • Insurance fraud!!!

  • Insurance fruad!!!

  • muito bom

  • MUSIC FAIL!!!

  • This would have been SO much easier with a simple 2:1 pull.

  • Chuck Norris carries these on his back. You dont need a recovery vehicle.

  • Why did the Hetzer go for a swim ?

  • A Hetzer...! Cool not many of them about at all. Nice find!!

  • they gonna restore it?

  • Interesting video with terrible "music". I had to mute it!

  • why are these in the sea? Is that the corland pocket?

  • @xn117 My guess is that it was driven into the sea to prevent it from falling into the Soviets hands.

  • Those Tank Destroyers were so ugly

  • @DaManzMoney Yeah like the Germans wanted to win a beauty contest with their tanks. They just wanted to stop the red menace anyway they could and really got creative about it. Eye of the beholder.

  • I wanna at least poke a German WW2 tank before I die :/

  • @SimplicityInItself About 20 years ago I went to the U.S. Army Ordanance Museum in Aberdeen, Maryland and it blew my mind. They have acres of tanks from WWI and WWII. Not only can you poke a tank but you can rub up against one like a cat.

  • WOw, wonder what those beach guys were thining, "that was there the whole time!?".

  • I'm more interested in how it got out there in the first place. Any info? Anybody?

  • @hipcat13 it might of sunk by huge wake while the tank was floatable.

  • Interesting video. After switching off the annoying music it was watchable.

    Thumbs up!

I would be interested in the history of this particular tank.

A tank in the sea? Pretty unusual, isn´t it?

    How did it get there?

  • @megatwingo What you have to think of though. Is that the shore probbly was not the far in at the time of this. It has been eroided away.

  • @dirtbiker4lfe

That sounds like a guess of yours. But you don´t know how the tank got there, right?

  • best german tank hunter if we talking the sie number build and compared to allied equivalent.

  • Czechoslovakian Skoda 38t chassis with German 60 deg armour. Skoda now owned by Volks Wagen. Oh well what goes around comes around, so who won the war?.

  • JagdPanzer? god damn... Its a Hetzer, you noobs...

  • @FroZt190261 Jagdpanzer 38 (t) is Hetzer, you noob...

  • @FroZt190261 Jagdpanzer is just German for "tank hunter" most German tank destroyers had that term in the name.

  • @FroZt190261 its called a Jagdpanzer 38 (t) Hetzer same as a tiger is a panzer VI tiger

  • yes thise tank was find in POLAND

  • wow im so amazed that alot of of the parts are intact, i mean the road wheels where still able to turn after more than 60 years underwater. also I think thats a T-44 soviet tank??

  • @AnalsaurusRex It's a Jagdpanzer

  • @AnalsaurusRex yes its a jagdpanzer aka tank destroyer

  • horrible music

  • Thanks Jroffler.

  • great find !! really cool !!!

  • Can anyone help me with the background song?...Is it German?

  • @anujbagdi

It's called "Dar" by Juana Molina. It's Argentinian.

  • SO BAD MUSIC

  • Hetzer... Jagtpanzer 35(t) das t für tschechisch...

  • The Russians had the T34 which was avery good basic tank they produced about 80,000 of them . The end of the way for Germany

  • all this tank needs is a new ignition plug then its like new haha xD :P

  • The chassis is in fact a Czech made tank.

  • You reckon that Kruppstahl was better than the Russian stuff? The trouble is that the Germans engineered their products to last for one thousand years- along with The Reich- then some clown goes and drives it into the sea after one week's use. It reminds me of the Willys jeep- built to last just a few hours in combat Before being destroyed but still working after all these years if they survived.

  • Great shape despite its immersion in salt water for so long.

  • Where was this awesome thing found? :3

  • Where exactly was this found ?

  • how the hell do the wheels still turn???

  • digger company owner: come on scoop away the sea before the tide comes in!!!

  • how tha hell could this get in there?!

  • lol at 5:42

  • that may have been put out there to reduce beach erosion.

  • that salt water is doing no favors on that bucket track vehicle.

  • @HuasoPodrido The Stug's been there for how long? I think the excavator can handle it.

  • I dont know if i am a genious but i would have towed it ONTO something and not towed around the beach for some time, to make sure wll tracks, wheels, gears and engine parts are gone....

  • thank god they got that tank out because the salt in the Baltic sea was eating her!

  • It was in Poland?

  • Great job on the recovery. These battle relics, whether they are tanks, airplanes, or other equipment are in greater danger now if left where they are and exposed to elements and vandals, sadly. It's better to get as many as possible moved to museums before more are lost.

  • @FiveCentsPlease well said -history at schools for this destructive era, has been rubbed out by "political correctness" -war machines must be recovered so that the young know what their grandparents went through

    to ensure their freedom

  • @FiveCentsPlease Museums are the worst place in the world for relics. They hide away 90% of what they have and charge us to see the other 10%. They never have the money to restore every think they have. Far better that it is in private hands where it has a commercial value and there by an incentive to restore it and show it.

  • @zane1os

The main priority should be to get them protected in museums or private hands. They will either rot away if left exposed to the elements for more years or just hacked up for scrap metal when nobody is looking (which is happening more frequently today.) It is foolish to leave them in situ.

  • @FiveCentsPlease I agree it's foolish to leave them in situ. I've just seen too many things disappear into the vaults of a museum never to be seen again.

  • What's a tank doing in the sea? Beach party anyone? lol

  • do you have any pictures of the tank restored geoff

  • Amazing that the idler wheels still ruen round after all that ime in the sea!

  • Bullshit the T34 was garbage and we all know that. Praise the U.S. for saying the entire world........

  • @cartercorpllc shut up cocky fuck we won the war not you stupid shit

  • @matamoros77 after being 4 years to late?you where nothing than a bunch of back-pack riders!

  • @00G000 wtf are you talking about?

  • @cartercorpllc HEY the T34 was the only tank that could take on the german Tiger.

    Think before you wright something.

  • @dirtbiker4lfe lol. The T34 was a medium tank which couldnt destroy the Tiger(Heavy tank) unless it was really, really close to it. The best Allied AT guns of the WW2 were the British 17pounder, American 90mm T5, and the Russian 100mm D-10S L / 54 which was used on the Su-100 Tank Destroyer.

  • @dirtbiker4lfe XD ill name 2 tanks that could do that pershing tank and sherman firefly (pershing is a late war tank)

  • Word up,..with respect. T34 would have drove straight out. lol

  • If that had been a Russian tank they could have started it up and driven it away there and then.

  • @NickRatnieks yeah with your mum on top

  • @NickRatnieks

if it had been russian, then it would be completely rusted beyond recognition...
