  • I WISH OUR LADY WOULD GIVE US A SIGN TODAY TO SAVE MY FAITH.

  • why do you question?why not believe?as for you a son,you love your mother and a mother's love can never be repayed...Jesus loved her mother so much, that she gave her to us and gave us to her. if you dont honor her but im sure Jesus honors her and loves her and made her queen of heaven..what better woman in the world could better deserve your honor than the one who bore the son of God?

  • the apostile paul said to not [go beyond what is writen]and also the just shall live by faith not by sight

  • but bible says do not worship dead ppl...and bible also says only jesus is in heaven with father and angels it doesnt say anything about mary

  • @TheBestEVER4LIFE Remove the blindness from your heart. Mary's appearance at Fatima is the Same Woman in the Book of Revelation: A woman clothed with the sun. Fatima was also Mohamud,s only daughter, who converted to Christianity. There is a connection with the apparition's location and religion of Islam. Those that deny Christ are the anti-christ. Mary's appartion in Egypt in the late 1960-1970's diverted blood shed. Also, the good, thief crucified with Jesus is also in heaven. Christ said so

  • Being the son of a Portuguese born mother, the story of Fatima is very dear to me.. Having visited the shrine in Portugal many times, I can assure you that this is a sacred place. Once you enter the shrine a tranquility will fill your entire being. To this very day not one person can fully explain the final miracle. The "Miracle of The Sun". The sun came so close to the earth that it was able to dry the soaking wet earth and the wet clothes of the people with out any harm to them. Strange???

  • I am very fond of Our Lady...and this vision of her has always been my favorite since i was a child...Thank our Lord for sending his most Blessed Mother to come and help us with a Mothers heart...

  • Interesting how this apparition never mentions Christ's death and suffering on the cross for our sins, yet it asks the children if they are willing to suffer for the atonement of sins. Hmmmmm......Christ's Word or the apparition's words?

  • @johnthreesixteen316 Indeed. And who wants to divert attention and focus away from Christ's death and resurrection? God or satan?

  • @kiwichristian2009 Hello friend. I agree 100 percent. Satan will use a counterfeit gospel to deceive and lead us away from the true gospel. Satan's coolaid looks good, it smells good and it tastes good......oops, you're dead. Proverbs 14:12....."There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death."

  • RE: BOWING: The context of the Scriptures say it's only forbidden to bow down in worship to one aside from God, but NOT from mere reverence or honor, especially to one whom the Lord sends. See Numbers 22:3. There are other examples of this very thing, but I figured this would suffice. Balaam was not told by the angel to rise, as the angel knew this was not worship. Just some info for consideration.

  • @TheCatholicWolf You mean the context that the rcc teaches? The wording is plain and simple. that bowing down to a statue is idolatry.

  • Hello friends. Has anyone ever documented the exact words the apparition says in this movie? Well, I have hand-written everything down, double and triple-checked everything to be safe. I have carefully compared every word spoken by the apparition with the King James Version of the Bible. Hmmmmm.....the apparition does not speak biblically. Actually, it speaks in an anti-biblical fashion. I don't think this apparition is Mary. Looks like a satanic hoax.

  • @johnthreesixteen316 That's nice of you. Could you quote for us a Biblical verse that says we're to rely on the Scriptures alone? Nothing she says is contrary to Scripture. Yes, this movie isn't the most accurate, the words were altered for whatever reason...Before you tell us all how unbiblical it is, why don't you tell us why we're to rely on the Scripture alone, when the Bible itself does not even teach this.

  • @TheCatholicWolf There you go again. Its not about that. Its about the FACT that these satanic apparitions teach and says things that OPPOSE what the Bible says.

  • Comment removed

  • @kiwichristian2009 "There you go again" what? "It's not about that" what? (please make some sort of reference to the message you're responding to...i'm going to try to number mine from now on each day to make this less confusing for me). Which part/s of the message do you believe counter Scripture? (for today, this message is officially #1).

  • @TheCatholicWolf #1. The apparitions say that "marys' immaculate heart can save you" ( yes, i am para-phrasing ), but God says only Christ can save us. The apparitions say that praying the repetitive rosary will get people out of purgatory. God says 1) we are to pray to God alone, 2) repetitive prayers are useless and 3) there is no purgatory.

  • @kiwichristian2009 Mary saves indirectly through Christ, this is the teaching of the Church. God wishes to establish the triumph through her Immaculate Heart, but why? Because it will be more humbling to Satan, who's trying to conquer the world for himself.

  • @TheCatholicWolf Hello again. "this is the teaching of the Church." This is not the teaching of the Bible. Only Christ's heart was immaculate. He was the only person free of sin, clear of any blemish. He had to be in order to be the sacrifice for sin.

  • @johnthreesixteen316 (1) The Bible calls Christ the new Adam, and Adam was created from the dust of the earth, before sin entered the world. If you wish to believe that He was created more pure than Christ, that's your issue. One thing you do not understand is that every doctrine we have of Mary does nothing but glorify Christ, and was combatting a heresy against Christ. If you cared enough to understand WHAT the Church taught and WHY she taught it...

  • @johnthreesixteen316 (2) you'd understand that the doctrines regarding her really don't have much to do with her, but with her Son.

  • @TheCatholicWolf But God does NOT teach this. Acts4:12 Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is NO OTHER NAME under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”

  • @kiwichristian2009 (1) He does. He always uses others to save His people, and as long as we know it is because of Him, there's nothing wrong with acknowledging the part others play. For example: Noah, Moses, David, the prophets and apostles, the angels, other Christians...all power comes from God, but He's always used others to carry out His will, the examples are numerous in the Bible. I can thank a doctor for "saving my life" when having performed an operaion, but it doesnt change the fact...

  • @kiwichristian2009 (2) that God decided whether or not I lived, whether or not the operation was successful. The Catholic understanding has always been that her role in salvation is indirect, like any other Christian's role in the salvation of his neighbor. Salvation doesn't come from anyone but Christ. This has always been the Church's understanding.

  • @kiwichristian2009 it's just sad that you close your heart and soul to the signs and workings of the Lord ...you remind me of the Pharasees who said to Jesus, "Oh, we would NEVER have killed the prophets!!"

  • @kathleenirish Rather than making a blanket statement, please be specific. What points have i raised that you disagree with?

  • @TheCatholicWolf Hello friend. The Bible implies Scripture alone all over the place......1 Corinthians 4:6....."And these things, brethren, I have in a figure transferred to myself and to Apollos for your sakes; that ye might learn in us not to think of men ABOVE THAT WHICH IS WRITTEN, that no one of you be puffed up for one against another."

  • @johnthreesixteen316 Scripture alone is NOT implied in 1 Corinthians, as it refers to "things written" and not "Scripture." What writings is he referring to? Why say "writings" if he meant "Scripture"? He's used "Scripure" enough times, why not here if that is in fact what he meant. Why does Christ say to listen to the Apostles, why does He never tell us to study the Scriptures? I didn't ask for your personal commentary of what is said, I asked for the word of God that you claim to follow.

  • @TheCatholicWolf Hello again dear friend. The argument regarding scripture alone is a moot point because the Bible contains everything a person needs for salvation. The Bible says Christ alone for salvation, so the Bible is all we need. No other texts, traditions of men, religions or any other belief is needed.

  • @johnthreesixteen316 Thank you for proving my point: Bible only is not biblical. You tell us that we're to rely on the Bible ALONE when the Bible doesn't teach it. Why should I believe anything you say, when the basis of your argument counters your actual argument.

  • @TheCatholicWolf Hello friend. The Bible is all we need.

  • @johnthreesixteen316 "The Bible is all we need." Yeah, you keep saying that, but you STILL are not backing up why. "It is implied all over the place." Lots of things are implied that you do not accept. I didn't ask for implications, I asked for the Word of God.

  • @johnthreesixteen316 It's only a "moot point" because you know it's not taught in the Bible. Why should we justify our beliefs in the Bible - when this doctrine is not only NOT taught in the Bible, but was NEVER believed by the Church? And before you say "it was taught by the first Christians" be sure to have quotes ready from these alleged first-second century Christians.

  • @TheCatholicWolf It is taught in the Bible. It is implied all over the place. The Bible is all we need.....no catechisms, doctrines of men, or doctrines of demons pretending to be Mary.

  • @TheCatholicWolf Hello...Any apparition which claims to be our co-redeemer, co-redemptrix, our intercessor, our suffering servant, universal mediator of graces, our refuge, our advocate to save us, our mediator, immaculately conceived, the savior of the world, ark of salvation and suffers on our behalf for the atonement of sins is a liar. These are all attributes of Jesus Christ. This isn't Mary. This is Satan. Satan's coolaid looks good.....it smells good....it tastes good.....oops you're dead.

  • @TheCatholicWolf Dear friend. All we need is God's Word......Proverbs 30:6.....” Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.” Anyone or any organization which creates its own doctrines, beliefs or religion which contradict scripture is a liar. Galatians 1:8....."But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed."

  • "Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them..." —Exodus 20:5. Ok, so then why do so many catholics and the pope BOW DOWN before a statue of Mary in their worship places?

  • @kiwichristian2009 Because we understand the difference between respect, honor, and worship, and protestants do not. Why did God command a SERPENT to be made, that all who even LOOKED upon it would be healed?

  • @TheCatholicWolf God DID specifically commanded CERTAIN statues to be made. Were they worshipped? No, were they bowed down to? No. Were the cerebrum on the ark of the covenant bowed down to or worshipped? No. Moses' brass snake was to demonstrate Gods healing power, so the people would know that their healing was from God and not just a coincidence, as you well know. Show me where God SPECIFICALLY commands us to make images of Mary and the pope and to bow to them?

  • @kiwichristian2009 Are the Catholic statues worshipped? No. You have no valid argument on the issue of statues.

  • @TheCatholicWolf God is quite clear here, He says do not BOW DOWN to them. Catholic bow down to them. Simple.

  • @kiwichristian2009 Bowing is a sign of worship, but one can also bow out of respect (think of gentlemen bowing down to ladies...or how they used to - it was a sign of respect, not worship).

  • @TheCatholicWolf And according to God, they too are committing a sin.

  • @kiwichristian2009 okay, the way youtube doesn't organize the messages makes this a little confusing. could you give me a quick ref. to which comments you're responding too (this one and future ones), i'll do the same.

  • @TheCatholicWolf No probs. You mentioned people bowing down to people for different reasons, God says that bowing to images or statues is forbidden. He does not specifically say bowing to worship them is forbidden, but that bowing to them is forbidden, full stop.

  • @kiwichristian2009 Hello. Let me add to my ascended into Heaven comment. No person other that Christ has ascended into Heaven.

  • @johnthreesixteen316 Not bodily like Jesus did, no. In spite of this CLEAR PROOF from God that mary did NOT ascend bodily into heaven, they still teach that.

  • Comment removed

  • @kiwichristian2009 What "clear proof" is there that Christ did not bring His Mother to heaven? And don't say "it's not recorded in the Scriptures" because the letters contained in the New Testament canon were written while she was alive.

  • @TheCatholicWolf Hello again friend. Nowhere in the Bible does it say Mary ascended into Heaven. Who cares anyways? Christ ascended into Heaven. That's all that counts. Salvation is through Him, not any created being including Mary.

  • @johnthreesixteen316 Who cares if she was ascended? Well, for one, the Church doesn't teach that she ascended, but that she was assumed. If you were an informed Catholic, you would know there's a vital difference. "Bible doesn't say it." Bible doesn't teach your "Bible only" doctrine either. Again, she was still on earth alive when the New Testament letters were written, of course her "end" isn't going to be recorded. Maybe John never died, after all, his death isn't recorded in the Bible.

  • @kiwichristian2009 The context of the Bible makes clear that bowing in worship and adoration is forbidden unless one's bowing to God. The pagans believed their statues to be actual gods, thus to bow to them would be sin. When the pagans demanded to be bowed to - not out of respect, but as an acknowledgment of their "godhood" - the Christians refused and were martyred. Believing a statue to be a god and bowing to it would be a sin, but we're not worshipping the statue.

  • @kiwichristian2009 Hello friend. As a young Roman catholic many years ago, I would bow down in front of statues of Mary and various saints and pray to them. Silly really when you think about it.....the Bible says no man has ascended into Heaven yet.

  • @johnthreesixteen316 So the Bible was lying about Elijah? Guess what, the Gospels and Epistles were written while Mary was alive, is it any surprise that something like that wouldn't be in there? And what does bowing to a statue have to do with God raising Mary into Heaven? You misunderstood the Church as a Catholic as much as you misunderstand the Bible now. If you want to be effective in converting someone who actually practices the Faith, you might want to learn about it.

  • @kiwichristian2009 Besides, only God is everywhere and able to hear our prayers.

  • @johnthreesixteen316 Where is that in the Bible?

  • That little boy - that plays Francisco - is just the cutest thing in the world!! Jacinta's pretty adorable too, but wow...what a cute boy!

  • kiwichristian's not going to counter any point here either? Not surprised, after proving the point I was trying to disprove, I'd probably be quiet too.

This was a pretty good movie, but the one for kids - the Day the Sun Danced - is better. It's only 30 minutes, but it has a lot more of what happened at Fatima. I highly recommend it!

  • Blessed be the most holy Virgin, and blessed be who chose Her among all women to be His Mother!

Blessed be who once upon a time was, Mary of Nazareth.

  • I would recommend that ALL you people read the book "The Devil" It clearly talks about why satan hates ALL people. its basiclly demonolgy.. I suggest that everyone here STOP playing games of religion & get to study so you know when people are wrong & when they are trying to decieve you..

  • @Kaz No thanks. No need to focus on the devil.

  • @Moe3214 Than how is that you are coming to Jesus if you take up NO ARM to fight against satan & his works.ONLY those who are born of the spirit can feel Jesus presence & demons as well.Dont act like those religious people that live their lives in a happy fake fantasy. You really need to mediate on Eph 6:Fward The armour.MAr16:16Forward.Everything the bible talks about is literal NOT FAKE OR MAYBE. If Jesus says your going to heal the sick in my name or expel demons, That means YOU REALLY ARE

  • I think i speak for other Christians here when i say we are NOT dishonoring Mary with our comments. We are not putting her down or anything. We are simply exposing the truth as written in Gods' Word.

  • @kiwichristian2009 What does His Word actually say about her? "Hail, full of grace. The Lord is with you." And Elizabeth, UNDER INSPIRATION OF THE HOLY GHOST says, first "Blessed are YOU among women," and THEN "Blessed is the fruit of your womb." And "who am I that the Mother of my Lord should come to me." And "For after the sound of YOUR words reached my ears, the infant in my womb leapt for joy."

  • @TheCatholicWolf Wrong. "And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women."

  • @kiwichristian2009 Check the earliest writings along with the commentary of the first Christians. Nevertheless, how many others in the Bible does the Father send His angel to say "Hail" to?

  • @kiwichristian2009 I agree! Only the Latin Vulgate says, 'Hail Mary full of grace." Non of the Greek manuscripts do. And fortunately for the sake of truth, the New Testament manuscripts were written in Greek, not Latin.

  • @TheCatholicWolf Hello friend.....Luke1:28 does not say, "Hail Mary, full of grace." It says......"And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women." "Full of grace" is only found in the Latin Vulgate. Not in any Greek manuscripts. The New Testament manuscripts are written in Greek, not Latin.

  • @johnthreesixteen316 Uh-huh, research the early writings and commentary for it and you'll learn what is actually said. Nevertheless, God send His Angel to "Hail" Mary. If YOU thus think it's wrong of us to "Hail" her, when God Himself did, your problem is with God, not the Catholic Church.

  • @kiwichristian2009 #2 The miracle of Cana. He said His time had not yet come, but because she asked Him, He performed the miracle, the first miracle, and this is when His disciples began believing.

  • @TheCatholicWolf What other biblical commands did mary give? Show the apostles going through her to Jesus, show there reverence and veneration and worship to her.

  • @kiwichristian2009 An example from God, be it one or 5,000, is enough for me.

  • @kiwichristian2009 I agree. We are not dishonouring Mary here because the apparitions are not Mary. The source is demonic.

  • @johnthreesixteen316 This is true. catholics can only counter this argument ( that the apparitions CONTRADICT the Bible ) by asking for proof that we are to rely on the Bible. They won't address the contradictions themselves.

  • Exodus20:4-5. "Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth." Vs5 "Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God." Isaiah 42:8 "I [am] the LORD: that [is] my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images."

  • @kiwichristian2009 In that same Bible God commands the image of a serpant to be made so that all who look upon it may be healed. This same God commanded the Cherubim images to "guard" the Ark of the Covenant. Do you realize that if you hold to what you quoted as literally as you seem to, you sin by being on youtube, by taking photographs or allowing them to be taken of you?

  • @TheCatholicWolf God DID specifically commanded CERTAIN statues to be made. Were they worshipped? No, were they bowed down to? No. Were the cerebrum on the ark of the covenant bowed down to or worshipped? No. Moses' brass snake was to demonstrate Gods healing power, so the people would know that their healing was from God and not just a coincidence, as you well know. Show me where God SPECIFICALLY commands us to make images of Mary and the pope and to bow to them?

  • @kiwichristian2009 So now we're not to "bow down in adoration" not simply bow down? Catholics have been aware of that since the beginning. As we do not worship the Mary or the Saints, and since we know that all benefits come from God, your argument doesn't stand.

  • Love this movie, Francisco is such a sweetie. I was fortunate enough to be baptized on the 66th anniversary of his death, woot!

  • Dios nos vendiga a todos y que la madre de Dios ilumine nuestro camino hoy y siempre ... un chileno despues del terremoto ... marzo 2010 .. DIOS NOS CUIDE SIEMPRE ..

  • Ave Maria Gratia Plena, pray for me

  • Hail Mary! Praised be God! Jesus is Lord!

  • I love when people think Apparitions of the Blessed Mother or Jesus oare "Familiar spirits" If these acts are of the devil that why would he try to do them" It brings people closer to God and increases their faith. Amaxing hor 10's of thousands of people witnessed this. Stan wanrt to drive a wedge between Man and God. People will gladly believe in Satan, witchraft etc but believing in God means Mocking God. I always pray for ppl who deny God and for the poor soulds in pergatory. Merry Christas!

  • @NFitalianGuy An ex catholic nun once said that the only purgatory that exists is the priests' pocket.

  • @kiwichristian2009 "Ex" Catholic nun should hint to all that she's NOT a reliable source. That is nothing more than the OPINION of a woman who abandoned God.

  • @TheCatholicWolf On the contrary, she concluded God was not in the rcc.

  • @kiwichristian2009 She concluded wrong and left Him.

  • @kiwichristian2009 BTW, an apostate priest - Martin Luther - continued to pray his Rosary and believed in the Immaculate Conception.

  • @TheCatholicWolf Luther fell into apostasy like the church he was fighting against. Your point?

  • @kiwichristian2009 I agree he was an apostate. My point was only that he did actually draw the line somewhere.

  • Remember even Satan isn't an Atheist. For someone to say there is NO God means thay they are never wrong and absolute.God is the ony absolute being. Death is eternity so wouldnt it be a shame if Atheists were wrong? The Here after is evrlasting. Hell is everylasting as well. Wouldn't is be a shame to be wrong only to have denied God and all his Goodness and in the end. I knwo I dont want to spend my eternity Void of God. It's amusing when I hear people say there is no God. Satan even believes.

  • The Blessed Mother was the Immaculate conception conceived without sin. God bestowed his Grace on her and she was incapable of sin. This was the only way to have Christ be born. God the Son is and always was Perfect and without sin. The blessed Virgin did not die she assended into Heaven when God called her. She was mentioned in Genissis when God Cursed the Serpent. There is a reason and Many choose to interpret the HOLY BIBLE in their own way esp when they Catholic church by MartinLuther.

  • @NFitalianGuy "The Blessed Mother was the Immaculate conception conceived without sin. " Really? Can you show me in the Bible where this is stated? This thinking didnt come into your church until 1954 when pope pius xiii declared it. Where is his proof of this?

  • @kiwichristian2009 Well, I can provide the information in a private message, as it's long. But first, you provide us the Bible verse that says we are to believe and obey Bible only. Where does Christ say that the Bible will teach all in His Name, and that all who read the Bible hear His voice?

  • @kiwichristian2009 By the way, it was infallibly DECLARED (though it was believed before) in Ineffabilis Deus, 8 December, 1854, by Pius IX. Just because we're of different faiths does not release you of the obligation of obeying the Commandment "Thou shalt not bear false witness..."

  • @TheCatholicWolf I am not bearing false witness. Everything i have said is historically and biblically accurate.

  • @kiwichristian2009 Actually, it isn't. You've backed up nothing.

  • @TheCatholicWolf btw: So, this guy comes out of the blue and says he is infallible, where the heck did THAT come from?!?!

  • @kiwichristian2009 When was this doctrine first taught in the Catholic Church, according to your research? It wasn't out of the blue, but I'd like to know if you looked this stuff up or if my suspicions are correct, and you're just spreading rhetoric. I'll provide the source right after you make the attempt.

  • By definition immortality means; deathless, everlasting, eternal, having no beginning or end, diety, divine. Jesus was divine. 1Tim6:14-16 says only God is immortal. Jesus was before the foundation of the world 1Pet1:20. Jesus said "Before Abraham was I AM" Jn8:58. Mary was mortal. She had a beginning and end. Shes dead and will be resurrected at the 2nd coming of Christ. Apparitions are deceptions. They are familiar spirits that impersonate the dead.

    Thank you

  • @potooth i bet to differ...God, father son and holy spirit, is INFINITE, ETERNAL wich has no beginning or End... immortal are them who have a beginning , but no end... and by the way she's NOT dead..for she is, as it is in the Holy Gospel, FULL OF GRACE...she immediately transformed to her Glorious body, and asended to heaven...thank you.

  • Where did you find your definition for the word immortality? The oxford dictionary is where I found mine. As for Mary being full of grace; Luke1:28 says she was highly favoured. That word favored comes from the greek word #5485 in the Strongs Concordance which is the same greek word used to describe the grace all sinners receive when they accept Christ as their savior.

  • If an event as the one you are claiming actually occured the bible most definitley would have recorded it but it didn't. Enoch and Elijah were both translated and the bible recorded these events. When Jesus rose from the dead Matt27:51-53 says many others were resurrected at the same time. You place too much stock in what the so called "early church fathers' claim to have witnessed. But we are all free to believe what we want.

  • @potooth And yet mary was not translated or taken up as Enoch and Elijah was.

  • @kiwichristian2009 No, it's just not recorded in the Bible, that's all. Where does the Bible teach that everything we need to know about God is in the Bible?

  • @TheCatholicWolf I've answered this before re: Bible. And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven (John 3:13)

  • @kiwichristian2009 No, you have not. Where does the BIBLE teach that we're to rely on the BIBLE ALONE?

  • @hercules101 "as it is in the Holy Gospel, FULL OF GRACE...she immediately transformed to her Glorious body, and asended to heaven..." Really? Show me this in the gospel, please.

  • @kiwichristian2009 OBVIOUSLY the literal words that describe it are not there, the assumption is credible...she had no sin, and sin destroys the body...she was full of grace. the word INCARNATION is not in the Bible, but Jesus Christ INCARNATED to Blessed mary's woumb, the word TRINITY is not in the bible, yet in Matthew 28:19 Jesus says, "baptize them in the name of the FATHER, SON and HOLY SPIRIT. the word BIBLE isn't in the bible....I will continue praying for you. God bless.

  • @hercules101 So, no mention of this is in the Bible? It is an invention or assumption of man? Mary WAS a sinner because she recognized she needed a savior.

  • @hercules101 I've searched through many different translations of the mainstream bible for 'full of grace', and nowhere is Mary called that. She is told by the angel that she is 'favoured by god', or has 'found favour in god's eyes'. So? David was favoured in god's eyes. At one time Saul was favoured in God's eyes. Samuel was favoured in God's eyes. We are favoured in God's eyes.

  • @kiwichristian2009 Learn other languages and then compare the earliest writings like the scholars do.

  • @kiwichristian2009 "Full of grace" could therefore also be translated as: "You are full of the Holy Spirit; your life is intimately connected with God." Peter Lombard, the author of what was the universal theological manual for approximately three centuries during the Middle Ages, propounded the thesis that grace and love are identical but that love "is the Holy Spirit".

  • @hercules101 True. Catholics take that one line and build a mini-religion around it, saying it gives man authority to worship her. this is just false. Mary was blessed among women, absolutely, but she was not blessed ABOVE women. Acts4:12 "Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”

  • @kiwichristian2009 You build a religion around a doctrine that isn't in the Scripture: Bible only. God Himself exalted her by sending His angel to "Hail" her. We don't need an apostle or saint or pope to say anything, God said it for them.

  • @kiwichristian2009

Please read Luke 1:28 "Rejoice, full of grace. The Lord is with you"

and LUKE 1:48 ""From henceforth all generations will call me blessed" NO ONE else can claim that they are called BLESSED from their time to all generations.... she is the "WOMAN" from Genesis, the one who's offspring will crush the serpents head. she is the New Eve, the New Arch of the Covenant. any other question.???

  • @hercules101 Yes, i do have another question. Please show me in the Bible where we are told to go through mary to get to Jesus, where we are to pray to mary, where the apostles worshipped and venerated her and went through her to get to Christ like catholics do and also please show me who is our savior.

  • @kiwichristian2009 READ the wedding of CANA, it was through MARY that Jesus performed his FIRST miracle, it was MARY that said to the servants " DO WHATEVER HE tells you". Brother, who to know a son better than His Mother??? throught the entire time the apostles were with Mary, the Honored her because JESUS honored her..." SON, BEHOLD your MOTHER" and John (the apostle) took Mary to his house and took care of her. our SAVIOUR is Jesus Christ, but it was the "FIAT" or "YES" to god's request.

  • @hercules101 My friend, you have not been able to answer my question. Please show me in the Bible where we are told to go through mary to get to Jesus, where we are to pray to mary, where the apostles worshipped and venerated her and went through her to get to Christ like catholics do. Now, is Christ the only savior?

  • @kiwichristian2009 The first miracle Christ performed was at His Mother's insistence, recorded in the Gospel of John.

  • @TheCatholicWolf With all due respect, my friend. Rubbish. All mary said was that there was no more wine. That's it. She commanded Jesus to do nothing, nor asked Him anything. Can you quote any other so-called "commands" that mary gave Jesus?

  • @kiwichristian2009 Read it again. He says: it's not my time. She says to the waiter: do what He tells you. Christ then performed the miracle. I didn't say she commanded Him to do anything, just pointing out the obvious that at her insistence He performed a miracle - His FIRST miracle - even though it "wasn't time".

  • @hercules101 Catholics also try to use John 2:3-7 to say that they show Mary had parental authority over Jesus. However, they show just the opposite. Notice that when Mary tries to exercise parental authority Jesus rejects it (v. 4, note-NOT disrespect to Mary) for as He says in Luke 2:49, parental authority is to His heavenly Father and not those allowed to watch over their Creator here on earth.

  • @kiwichristian2009 You're quoting of Luke proves nothing, as it still shows in John that - though it was not His time - He still performed the miracle. You're twisting the Scriptures.

  • @hercules101 WHERE in the Bible does it show that the apostles honored mary? Where they took instruction from her, where they went through her to Jesus? You cannot provide ANY evidence whatsoever.

  • @kiwichristian2009 Where in the Bible does the Bible say to take your instruction from Scripture alone? You have yet to provide a quote for that, even though it's been asked repeatedly.

  • @kiwichristian2009 AND ONE MORE TIME, WE (catholics) do NOT worship mary, we pay Honor to her. She is Blessed for and from all Generations. ... WE VENERATE to what she did for man kind. She is the new EVE.....the WOMAN of GENESIS. the QUEEN of HEAVEN. Read Revelations 12:1 ....

  • @hercules101 The woman in revelation is a picture of the Israelite nation as shown in Gen37:9,10 with the sun representing Jacob, the moon his wife Rachel, and the 12 stars representing the tribes of Israel. Christ was born of Israel. The Israelite nation is often referred to as a woman in Isaiah54:5 and Jeremiah31:32.This woman cannot be mary because the woman IS ON EARTH DURING THE TRIBULATION, whereas mary's spirit is in heaven at that time.

  • @kiwichristian2009 And the commentary of this book is where in the Bible? The rest of the argument makes no sense as you're limiting God's power.

  • @TheCatholicWolf You dont need a "commentary", you need to read the Bible. The facts and truths of the Bible speak for themselves. All i ask of you, my friend ( and i mean that ) is to examine it, that's all.

  • @kiwichristian2009 That's why no two protestants who rely on the Bible alone can agree on most issues? What I encourage you to do is to read the commentary of the first Christians, as it stands to reason that they knew more of what was meant than men 1500-2000 years later. If what the Church says is in fact garbage, the writings of the early Christians will show that.

  • @TheCatholicWolf You dont need a "commentary", you just need to get rid of your man-made doctrinal thinking and just read the Bible. It is clear that the woman is Israel and not mary. Not only have i told you this, i have shown you biblical evidence that proves it.

  • @hercules101 As i have told you, my friend, the only "queen of heaven" that GOD mentions is not mary, is it? Don't you think God would have told you specifically to raise her up higher than anyone else, to pray to her, to bow to her, to pray to her, etc. But, if we look at what GOD teaches us and not what the pope teaches us, we see none of this at all.

  • @kiwichristian2009 Why would He? He didn't tell the Apostles to make record of His life and to include it in the Scriptures...at least, it's not recorded in the Bible that He did so.

  • @TheCatholicWolf Because catholics are obsessed with mary. And, because praying, worshipping and venerating, and seeking help and protection from mary is VERY important, isn't it? So surely God would have been as clear on this as He is that CHRIST is our ONLY mediator, our ONLY hope, our ONLY salvation, and the ONLY one to pray to/through.

  • @kiwichristian2009 (#1) Christ is our salvation, and the Church has always taught this. Those documents you quoted earlier, I'd like to encourage you to read them in context, the whole thing. There are books written of Mary by the Saints, and many of them can be taken out of context if one goes by a line or two, but if you were to read what is written by these same Saints of Christ, you would see that what they say of her is NOTHING compared to what they say of Him. (continue)

  • @kiwichristian2009 (2) Yes, we talk a lot of Mary, the Church says a lot about her. But what of the many more writings of Christ and His absolute rule? His absolute authority? If you were to compare the writings (of Christ with Mary), I don't think you'd be as offended.

  • @TheCatholicWolf So, are you saying that, "no, there is no command from God to worship, venerate and pray to mary"?

  • @kiwichristian2009 I'm saying we're called to imitate Christ, and Christ - being perfect - would have honored the woman He chose to be His Mother. Love and respect for Mary is nothing more than imitation of Christ.

  • @kiwichristian2009 THUS, she is a QUEEN because her son IS THE KING, and let me ask you... should we Pay tribute to the QUEEN of Heaven? i think so..yeah. any other questions?

  • @hercules101 "should we Pay tribute to the QUEEN of Heaven?" look what happened in Jeremiah chapters 7 and 44 when people tried that on. Yes, i have a question. If the rcc was wrong to torture galileo who turned out to be right and the "church" wrong, who is to say what other points the rcc has been or is wrong about? Also, in 1996, pope jp2 said that Catholics can believe in Evolution. Is this in line with the book of Genesis?

  • @kiwichristian2009 There you go twisting the Scripture again. Go back and read what you quoted. Who is the "queen of heaven" that they're referring to? The pagan goddess. Nice try. As to JPIIs comment, what of it? You show a lack of understanding of what papal infallibility is and thus I will not even go there. As for Galileo, you obviously aren't familiar with his situation or his theories. And BTW, what "torture" did he undergo that you're referring to?

  • @TheCatholicWolf What i am saying is that having a "queen of heaven" is pretty important, so why did God not mention this? STOP comparing heaven to an earthly kingdom. You didnt answer my question, is pope johhnys statement in line with Genesis? I never said anything about infallibility. I know there have only been 3 ( you say two ) "infallible" statements ever made.

  • @kiwichristian2009 Christ compared Heaven with the earth, why can't the Church? You implied papal infallibility by using JPIIs statement. No, his COMMENT (and possible personal opinion) is not in line with the Scripture, and not in line with the teachings of the Church. The Assisi incident was not in line with Scripture either, it was a very scandelous act. We've had Popes that have made bad judgments, inaccurate comments, etc. Christ warned this would happen, so it doesn't shake our faith.

  • Apparitions deceptive? Acts 2:17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:
