Just saw them dance at the Millenium Ball in Tampa....soooo amazing!! And I do believe Ricardo is a better partner for her, although I absolutely loved her with Max and could never take away from all they accomplished together. Ricardo is definitely a better fit for her abilities and they have raised the bar together.

Well I prefer the showdances of max and yulia but in "classical" dancing riccardo is far better. when yulia danced with max it seemed like he was sometimes not able to handle her. it harmonizes more with riccardo.

Yeah, I think so too.

I believe that Yulia and max was a bit too onesided. I mean, she was the star of the couple, and now that she's with Ricardo she has another person to balance her amazing capabilities.

I think so to, but just becouse i like Ricardo's dancing style better than Maxim's. It looks (my opinion) as if Ricardo is much less full of himself and just enjoys to dance, while i think Max is much more ''macho''. Like, max is showing off, and ricardo is just dancing.

i don't aggree that she isn't gorgeous in rumba, maybe particulary in 2008 wss show rumba her leg action was looking a bit brittle , but i think that she is gorgeous in every dance of latin :)
