I love George A. Romero's movies. I think my favorite is Night of the Living Dead. It's a classic. I love the beginning:

Oh, yes! "Day of the Dead" is a pretty cool movie and your DVD edition looks also perfect... but my personal favorite is "Dawn of the Dead" (but more Dario Argento´s Europen Edition with the fantastic Soundtrack by Goblin), because Romero created a real masterpiece of modern horror cinema with a of speed, energy and social critics. :-)

I am honest: I never watched "The Others" - but I really believe I should do that now... thank you my friend! :-)

awesome update! day of the dead is great!! the effects are amazing!!! when i first saw this movie when i was little, i didnt really like it that much but i like it alot better now. the others is great!!!havent seen it in years. i have to get it on dvd. have you seen the orphanage, the devil's backbone, stir of echoes?? great ghost stories imo.i wasnt a huge fan of the strangers either. i saw a little bit of them but fell aslepp to it, i have to watch it again i guess

THEM is an awesome movie, I was on a roll one weekend picking really good foreign films. I wasn't expecting much from it but I really liked it. The other 2 movies I watched around that time was Shiver from 2008 and Antibodies from 2007. check those out if you like THEM. Great vid as usual.

As for the Dead trilogy... as much as I love Dawn of the Dead, I find myself watching Night of the Living Dead more often (usually around Halloween).

Loved The Others and The Devil's Backbone. Was Hillary Swank in Day? I saw some of it on TV once, and there was a woman (memory hazy) who resembled her. Great pics, enjoy how you critique the films, you obviously know your cinema! Don't just say "Oh, it was nifty!" You go into exactly why and mention not just actors & directors, but art direction,etc. Good seeing what's inside packaging---have you ever done WORST packaging? There's a ton out there, unfortunately.

the only problems i have with a lot of zombie movies, inc all of romero's is the 1 simple thing: if your dead and rotting, when you get shot fresh bright red blood does not come pouring out! but day is my personal fav in the series, but you have to get an uncut / unrated / extended cut, otherwise you miss out on gore from the arm chopping scene and the guy who gets his head pulled off, the uk version is / was cut heavily in those scenes!

I'm sorry Jay but my fav zombie film out of the three is Dawn i think its Romero at his best and the effects are probably the best out of all the Dead series..Not seen The Others in a long time but i remember liking it..Them is a good film very creepy in parts with a few good jump scenes..Great video..

Hey yeah it was the Autumn English Zombie movie with David Carradine. I'm not sure if you've seen it but personally I thought it was bad, the editing especially. It was a battle of endurance to make it through the full movie, I could not recommend it and wish I hadnt watched it.

"the Others" is a classic. But i dont think its underrated at all.

The most approved critic have it, in the top ten of the past decade.

actually i like "the others" moren then "the sixth sense", but both are great.

I didn´t enjoy "Them" at all. Thought "The Strangers" was way better. To mee, "the strangers" is a directly Remake, but as i saied, way better then the original.

I agree with Day of the Dead, its good but is kinda slow up until the end. Then it becomes a gore fest which i wish they did more though out the movie. I like Dawn of the Dead the most. The Others is pretty good. I love the huge twist at the end. I need to pick it up again...Never heard of 'Them' but i wasnt a fan of The Strangers so i dont know if i'd like it

Great update Jay =) 1. Night of the Living Dead 2. Day of the Dead and 3. Dawn of the Dead.. And that's the order that i see them for the very first time long time ago.. Night and Day are also the films that i have rewatch the most. I also like Tom Savini's 1990 remake of Night of the Living Dead.. The Others is great so it's maybe my fave ghost movie.. I'd definitely say that Dawn of the Dead was my fave version. I had to get my mother to rent it for me being a minor, but we watched it together! Ah the days of quality family time together lol!!

The Others was quite a surprising film. My fave haunted house flick is Legend of Hell House. That's a classic.

I want to see Ils, haven't watched yet. The French are doing some fantastic horrors lately.

Id have 2 go with the original "Dawn of the Dead" because I mean for that time period that movie was pretty good with the visual effects.. the remake was okay, but it seems like remakes aren't as good as the originals. I do like "Day of the Dead" though...I like Bub to lol. Another kind of average zombie flick is "Night of the Comet" and I liked it okay it came on Sci-fi for Halloween.They played all three zombie movies you reviewed. Hope they do it again this year.

little nibble. lol. that movie, the others was huge popular when it came out man. I like the changeling better, it has more of a rewatch value for me. As for Day of the Dead, its my fav in the series. Love the characters, the desolate underground atmosphere and BUB! I always felt Dawn was over-rated and I hate the blue smurfy zombies and kool-aid comic book blood. They even tried to fix the color on the zombies on that last dawn set to make them not look so blue/green. lol.

All time favourite Zombie film has to be Return of the Living Dead. Couple of legendary character actors plus some funny dialogue. The Director, Dan O'Bannon, was an excellent character writer, he wrote the character Ripley in Alien(s) franchise plus screenplays for Total Recall, Lifeforce and the zombie segment in the cartoon movie Heavy Metal. I think that's the reason I respect and like Return of the Living Dead so much.

You would have to be one of the small percent that enjoys The Others, I really liked it and think if you go into it knowing nothing about it it is a really fun movie with a great twist. Day of the dead is not as good as Dawn but still a great film with some really good effects. I haven't seen Them but have seen The Strangers and thought it was decent but could have had a little bit more "Holy Crap" factor to it. Great update mate.

the other's is pretty good, have you ever read the short story it is based on? it is called turn of the screw, if you are interested. Them is a great movie, it is by far better than the Strangers, by far! It is a great suspence film, a modern classic in my opinion. Bub is the man, and Day of the Dead is awesome, it is the last true Romero zombie movie.

Great pickup I glad you like the others I thought it was ok but I kind of knew were it was heading when I first saw it.I think I like day better than dawn but to me all three of them are great movies.I have not seen the movie Them tell if it good great update keep up the great videos
