  • technically you only need to roll 2-3 times, and you should stop and hold position where your muscle signals pain until it relax's, this is what really helps the myofacial tissue. Do your quads to really understand the concept.

  • I have so many herniated discs that I can't imagine doing the thoracic

exercise with the little neck lifts at the end. I really wanted to use one of

these but you would have to have no bodily injuries to use this rollwer.

    Hurts...

  • @strengthcamp

What the difference between doing this to your hamstring versus just stretching it?

  • that's a nice "grimace" i know the feeling

  • Looks like a human steamroller, well at least you're as big as one... in a good way

  • whenever i have a question it seems like you already have a video to answer it haha. your the man

  • @younggray100 for sure!

  • @strengthcamp how tall are you bro?

  • I found basketball more effective than foam roller. Though it hurts like hell at the beginning

  • @tr342s ill try that thanks

  • yo this was a great video man ive been body building for 6 years now but started doin MMA for about a year now and i was told foam roller stretchin was crucial thanks for the video

  • @SOCRATES012 torn biceps are much cooler

  • @TOMatoPASTE2 get a fucking life

  • @SOCRATES012 sweet reply man. obviously had to draw on all of your wit to come up with that one. are you naturally a useless human being or did you have to work on it...?

  • @SOCRATES012 Ur Welcomed to Use a sewer pipe then. These can be more painful than one might think , and they work to get deep in there.

  • i think the tension of foam rolling is better than a massage cause theres just whay more pressure on the muscle , i need to try that I T band stretch, good stuff

  • How many times would you go back and forth per body part. Is it like 4 or 5 as you were doing in your video?

  • as much as you feel necessary.

  • I do them anywhere from 10 to 50 rolls, depending on how long it take to loosen-up; because I have kids, I typically roll until I have to break up a fight/argument between them (i.e. 10 to 50 rolls)

  • @rogerdalemcc

Your supposed to hold on any knots that you have for around 20-30 seconds. Roll slowly, find a knot and hold.

  • oopps, i guess you did mention how much that shit hurts!

  • elliot,

you forgot to mention how much roaling hurts!

    good stuff though!

  • man this is too much effort after a hard workout. Id rather just pay for a deep massage.

  • me too,i want that

  • i need to get one of those foam rollers
