Nah, MC Hammers suit never went anywhere. C/Z dropped them from the label for poor sales and the band fell apart. Carrie Akre went on to form Goodness who, while they toured with a lot of good bands, never really got big either. To bad, I always loved the music of both bands.

IIRC, Hammerbox got torpedoed when MC Hammer sued them for copyright infringement. That pretty much killed them off.
