@xGodlyDanielx Did you get the help you needed for Ms. Pacman? You know, if you don't want to go the while MAME route, & all you really want to do is, just what you say/play Ms. Pacman, there are sites online that offer it, no fuss/hassle. Just google something like "play Ms. Pacman online". If you DO want mame, there are multiple MAME tutorials on here. I doubt anybody could explain it any better, simply via words, than a video does. If you still need help, let me know. Maybe I can help.

MAME was good about three or four years ago because allmost all roms worked, now its all gone to shit, theyve overdone it with the amount of different versions and everything seems to be uncompatible with each other, constant updating means theres even more uncompatibility, its just a mess and the end result is its totaly unreliable. Only about a quarter of the roms work now (numbers still dropping), i wish they just kept it how it was before, it was simple and more importantly it was working.

@ShredMetalBlues People tell me I shouldnt complain about something thats free and I am very glad it is free because its bad enough being given a piece of shit that doesnt work, to haft to pay for it would be a fucking tragedy. Ive noticed that when OSX says roms are the same version there are actually different versions of the same version (thats how fucked up it is), one small part of the rom has been updated and the program can not recognize that it is now different. Mame is so broken now.

You know... if you save MAME and put on your desktop then extract the file to your desktop... you don't need to make a "New Folder". The computer instantly will make a new folder for you. Or atleast thats what my computer does anyways.

@eldie3359 Mine does that now too. Even when I set up the directory path perfectly. I've tried unzipping DK and putting it in it's own folder inside the roms folder, putting the unzipped files in the rom folder and putting the zipped file in the rom folder and the damn thing won't recognize it. My mame used to run it fine but it won't now for some reason and it's driving me crazy. I've set the directory linking only to that game and done a complete audit and it still can't see the damn files.

@SuperKolpol u gotta click the first rar file (probably has a 1 at the end of it) or just any of em. Then extract using winrar. Its parted cuz its too big now u get to make it whole again. Btw which rom is it and is it a chd file? If its a chd file u need to place in a new folder in the roms folder and name it the same name as the rom it corresponds to. Goodluck. If you have problems I can do a tutorial video just for u, all u gotta do is shoot me a pm.
