Your short film was good as long as you were keeping it on the tripod. Also if there is a shot with no dialogue you should take out the audio re-foley it and then add in the ambient noise at a very low volume. I looked at your behind the scenes videos and I think you do your own editing. Also could you check out my short film T.O.D. I'd like your input. I've been getting a lot better since them.
Someday when I'm watching the Oscars and you are nominated.. I'm going to sit back and think that I watched some of his first shorts knowing he'd make it.
Hopefully you read this! You can really spark your career in film-making by asking for international support as an Indie (Independent) cinematographer. Search up IndieGoGo. You won't be disappointed. Ans seriously, you have talent that'd be worth donating to :)
That was good! Although, not sure why the policewoman had her hat on at a jaunty angle. I certainly have never seen a policewoman with a hat on like that. But that's just me nitpicking of course. The film was pretty good (although the boy's injuries sound far worse than falling off a bike onto grass...)
Having just done a segment in short-films at Uni and done my own 4minute action, it was good to be able to watch this. Also with the behind the scenes episodes you guys have done a great job with this project. I look forward to seeing anything you come up with later, but just to say, that was a really good story and I think it was told really well.
im definitely a fan of your work and was excited to finally see this after much anticipation :) i am an aspiring film maker and truly enjoyed your piece :) it was cool seeing a lot of the techniques that you have taught in your tutorials come to life on screen! great job, keep it up! :)
good story, good cut, good camera, good color correcting! everything thing is awesome! but my recommendation is to get a better audio recorder, a better shotgun mic, and a recorder or something, just to get that full cinematic audio and video. that would be awesome! justt sayinn.. (y)
wow that was excellent, kept my attention for the whole 20 minutes. I really liked how you separated the film into different times, so it was more interesting and so the audience had to think more about the plot. Great Job!
This was amazing.
