The GES test is the one you eat nuclear eggs or oatmeal and it measures how fast the food leaves your stomach. GP pain can surely wax and wane. GP does effect our immune systems so its very easy to catch colds and viruses. The last virus I got took me two months to rid. What type of diet did your doctor suggest?
& many tests I got diagnosed last week. I stay very bloated & just feel like I'm going to explode. The pain is constant. I don't go to the bathroom except every few days then I can't control it for a day. I'm really new to all of this so I'm trying to figure out what I can eat by the diet he gave me. I'm have a fever today & I'm wondering if it's from the GP. I hope not.
hi ive been watching videos on gastropherisis I have now had Botox into my pylor muscle 2x now which has helped but now due to antibiotics against it im told surgery pylorplasty? Anyone have experience with any ot this . thank you
@gpawarenesscampaign the dr said it's caused from the pain meds I take for Fibromyalgia. I'm thinking I need to be tested for diabetes as well. I go back to see him tomorrow so I will know more. I know one thing. I am miserable. I had an egd last week & my stomach was still full of food. Had the stomach study yesterday. I'm praying it hasn't gone too far. From what I'm reading I'm getting scared.
@xeena67 yes, pain meds can cause GP. What was your GES time? Have you been able to request an invite to the GastroparesisPatients group on yahoo? Do you have a blood sugar monitor at home? That is what I use to make sure my sugar is at a good level. GP can be tough but just remember one must keep the good fight and attitude can make or break you but as well we all have our days. How long have you been having the symptoms?
