I do not in any ways see "Tubular bells" as scary in any ways, it is a nice piece of music that was used in a horror movie an thus people associate it with horror. I fell in love with that tune directly from the source, Mike Oldfield and just cannot make the connection to scary at all. For me it was an several years old experience before I got even a hint of it's use as a horror tune. For me it's relaxation music.
