You're so exhausting.What you don't realise is I do believe Coldplay to be more mainstream-clearly.And if you insist on comparing them to bands which BY THE WAY sound NOTHING alike,I prefer The Panics and I agree that they put heart and soul into their music.That does not mean that what Coldplay writes is bland!It's just not alternative and has had time to become more well known.But everything Chris writes about has heart and soul in it,related to experiences central to him and life.

Ok, you were not the one making the original comparison- but by disputing what he/she said,and continuing to point out the 'faults' in Coldplay, you are still making comparisons between that emotion and this emotion. Why does it bother you so much that I like Coldplay? That I find meaning in Coldplay. They create beautiful sound, sometimes uplifting, sometimes heart wrenching. They mean something to me, and if they don't to you, or that other guy, I really don't care. I'm just bloody surprised.
