I have the Neo Freerunner running, but I can't seem to figure out where to find apps like the sound player and the browser. Want to point me in the right direction ?
Its a nice project, dare say there will be some issues with the hardware with the GTA02 not supporting all the frequencies (no 850mhz). I might hang on till the GTA03.
Yes, the Neo1973 that'll be mass-produced will have two 3d-accelerometers built in. This means that it can sense exactly how it is moved (same way as the wii-mote) and it'd probably be pretty easy to make it automatically go to landscape mode when you rotate it.
There is an oss flashplugin, that one could be ported rather easily, however, it isn't very compatible afaik. I doubt though, that you would want much flash on a device like that.
is the sidekick 08 web browsing just like this?

This might be a stupid question, but I'll ask it anyhow.
I know the openmoko is still in development can you actually use it as a phone, or is it just for development of applications on top of it?
Also, the development board, does it come with a display? Can it be used as a phone? Why is it only 1/4 the cost of the openmoko phone?

if i see it like this, i prefer the iphone. only because the iphone has an nice overvieuw.
especially old people or busisness people prefer an easy phone
Lonewolveone 3 years ago
It's not meant to be an "easy" phone, but a customizable phone. It's open source, so you can (legally) do whatever you want to it, basically.

Considering he said 'так' ('so') in the beginning of the video, he is most likely from Russia or Ukraine.
