Upchurch had great speed on the field, he just fumbled too much or at critical times. Alabama has had 4 solid back the 4 years; Coffee, Upchurch, Ingram, and Richardson. I didn't realize how much better Ingram is until I saw this video with highlights played in succession.

08 I think they were as dominant &physical as other team ,Tebow had to really show his Heisman form to beat Tide the,Utah loss was just rust and dissappointing for Bama players not playing for NC,( though I think Utah was a very good team),,that and loss of Smith and Johnson was just enough of a letdown to lose the last game , this yr the D probably has to carry OFF for a while ,I think they might lose 1-3 games but hopefully 14-0 and NC

Alabama will have one of the best back fields in the nation next year with Ingram, Upchurch, Richardson, Lacy, and Marrow.  Also some people who didn't play much last year will do some damage to like Jeramie Griffin, Terry Grant, and Ivan Matchet. No doubt one of the best in the nation. To many weapons.

It will be Saban will have them ready in time. It could be a lot of freshman but if they are ready he is going to put them out there.  And also if somebody starts sucking it's going to be hard to keep 6'7 370 D.J. flucker on the bench if he isn't already starting. So I think we'll be fine.
