  • those wolves in real life would of killed that thing .......yeah i said it

  • So, 240p... We meet again...

  • easily the most badass scene of the disney rennissance. TGMD Big Ben scene is a close second to me.

  • lol 2:11 AWKWARD!!!

  • Like...he roared in that wolf's face purely for intimidation then chucked him. Think about that.

  • 2:12 Beast: You guys done fucked up now

  • 2:07

    Epic face!

  • thanks! love this scene:)

  • How did she get him up there?

  • why is this scarier now im an adult???

  • a friggin clydesdale scared of wolves? those horses are HUGE compared to wolves, wouldnt they fight back?

  • @blatantlyable

    What difference does size make?

  • @Canute87 hmmmm....i guess thats also true when your surrounded like that...

  • @blatantlyable

Exactly. Wolves are used to traveling and attacking in packs. If they actually kept up they would have taken the beast out. It's just that he showed no signs of weakening.

  • Okay I'm sorry but there is NO WAY Belle would have been able to carry the Beast onto the horse. What does she weigh, like 100 pounds? Whatever, but still think this scene is really scary..I had to turn down the volume.. haha.

  • Beast was kind of a jackass in the first part but he made up for it quick ;) I love this scene such an amazing movie

  • 1:32 I swear that dog bit right into her face

  • this is my favorite scene!!!

  • When I was little, I used to run out of the room when he shouted "GET OUT!!" XD

  • just beautiful the last minutes of the video how belle took him...:")

  • If the Beast had roared like that at Gaston he'd have shit his pants and ran back to the village. :D

  • Those wolves look kind of cute and fuzzy.

  • My favorite scene! The Beast is a badass them wolfs got ownd. Lol!

  • this part is gonna be amazing in 3D!!!! =)

  • @dumboiscute I SAW IIIT IT IS INDEED IT'S AWESOME IN 3D !!! did you see it already?

  • @Agaotaku not yet and i don't think i will because it's socalled "witchcraft" in the beginning and my mom doesn't like witchcraft. =(

  • @dumboiscute .........YOU MUST GO!

  • @Agaotaku lol i know! i'm gonna talk my mom into taking me =)

  • YEAH!!!!! BEAT THE WOLF'S :-)

  • When I saw Belle run away as a child, I was thinking...

Nice song, Lumiere ( the candle). Too bad it didn't work!

  • Philippe's expressions are always the best

  • 1:23.

Chalk one up for Phillipe the horse. He fucked that wolf's world up!

  • When Belle is screaming at the wolfs, her face always makes me think of the Woods scene from Snow White.

  • IF THE WOLVES HAD STAYED A LITTLE LONGER BEFORE THE BEAST FAINTED, THEY WOULD HAVE HAD BELLE, THE BEAST AND PHILLIPE THE HORSE FOR DINNER!

  • @veganisextremelygood Let this be a lesson to us all: NEVER GIVE UP TOO SOON!!

  • It's hard for me to take this scene seriously when I see the horse's face after Beast faints

  • @mztippy Rolling All Over the Floor Laughing Like A Maniac over here!

  • Comment removed

  • @mztippy thats because the horse knows you don't see this kind of shit everyday lol

  • @mztippy Never saw that before, hahaha...

  • @mztippy hahahahhaahahaha never noticed this before he's like SAY WHAAAAAAAAAAT MOTHER FUCKEEER

  • @mztippy hahaha right? He's like "damnnnn he fucked them wolves up!!"

  • @mztippy oh my god, i never noticed that before. i literally just LOLed when i watched for it.

  • I wonder what made the beast change his mind and decide to save Belle's life

  • @offtosiberia WITHOUT BELLE, HE WOULD HAVE NOT BEEN A HUMAN AGAIN!

  • I have one question........i would like to know how belle put the beast up on the horse?

  • @bored8215 That's what I was thinking maybe he should have let her take on the wolves

  • Example? (please be something other than twilight.)

  • Even as an adult, this is still one of the scariest scenes in cinema history. It has such a relentlesness to it, and the fact that there's a whole pack of wolves against Belle and her horse. Those are probably the scariest wolves ever put on film, too. Further evidence that this is one of the greatest films ever made.

  • @Guigley actually, i think the giant bear in the fox and the hound taes the cake by far as the scariest animal fight scene. I mean that bear is just a pure monster lol

  • why are wolves always bad guys? T-T

  • @loura246 ...There have been plenty of situations where wolves are good guys.

  • @BlueLight365 well most of the time they're bad. i dont really get why such a beautifull creature is picked on so much.

  • @loura246 An example? Balto, The Sight and Fell, Ginga Densetsu Weed, Pocahontas, and Okami, to name a few.

And please, pit bulls are more misunderstood than wolves.

  • @BlueLight365 thats a good point. pit bulls are very sweet dogs. chiwhawhas(spelling is terrible i know.) bite poeple WAY more often. i wouldnt count balto though because the main character is a wolf dog. i havent seen any of the others exept pocahontas.

  • 2:45 the horse had his o.m.g face

  • Wolves should of gobbled that bitch right up.

  • @AlphawolfForever YOU GOT TO BE KIDDING!!!!!! BELLE IS A SWEETHEART!!!!!!! HOW DARE YOU SAY THAT?!!!!!

  • @AlphawolfForever I know you have a right to your opinion. Sorry. I was just angry at the thought of someone saying Belle deserved to be eaten even though she is a heroine, not a villain. But since she is not real, your comment does not do any harm.

  • Does the scene where Beast fights the wolves remind anybody the scene from Lady & The Tramp where the Tramp fights off the Lady's attackers? Disney has been know for recycling classic scenes like that.

  • I still like wolves.

  • @godzilla964 i do too, to be honest i like the wolves better on here...

  • When Belle ran away, I bet Beast thought to himself, "Oh, I feel so embarrassed about scaring Belle, she's going to die in that fierce weather and she may be attacked by wolves, I've got to do something. But what?"

  • @1f5sda actually his first thought was probably ".....shit...."

  • @electricguitarXYZ You are probably right as well. I agree with you as well.

  • @1f5sda I wouldn't say embarrassed, just ashamed and remorseful.

  • @maya14belle You're probably right!

  • Too intense!

  • I still don't understand how the fuck Belle got that massive Beast on the horse.

  • why does she cover him up? he's covered in fur. Also, when they are walking away, she's wearing the cloak again... and how did she get beast on top of the horse? he must weigh at least 300 pounds. probably more.

  • 2:30 PWNED

Pause at 2:22: Where is that upward light coming from?

  • @SpaceNTime77 That is a matter of opinion and watch your mouth please!

  • @BKDBrian2 sorry. lol

  • the beast has an epic epic voice!

  • Beast is fucking ripped!

  • @1:50-2:03 you really can sense her desperation when she tried to fight off those wolves, nice one Disney!

  • Beast is a badass.

  • 2:46 to 2:48 - amazing how the animators made her emotions so subtle yet so powerful!

  • This reminds me of Mufasa vs the Hyenas saving simba, that roar gives me goosebumps

  • Comment removed

  • @ilovejackie808 Same here, but with Mufasa, the odds were better. One adult male lion can easily overpower large packs of hyenas, and he only had three to deal with. However, a pack of wolves can easily bring down even very large beasts, and this pack was larger than most.

  • Does anybody know what the soundtrack at 2:48 ist called?

  • Is Belle the only Disney Princess to ever fight? I mean she's prepared to fight the wolves I can't remember if any others have, Did Jasmine..hmm I can't remember.

  • @jmurf22 Well Ariel kind of did. I know Mulan did.

  • I love that, Smashes the Alpha wolf on the tree. The rest wimper and run away. Fucking sweet!!

  • I encountered a coyote late at night a few nights ago, and it reminded me of this scene in one of my favorite movies. :) Anyway, at this point in the film, Belle has to choose between two evils. The cruelty of La Bête in the Chateau, or the wolves in the wilderness upon her sudden escape. Good thing la bête changed. :)

  • damn nature! you scary!

  • I want to see the Beast fight with Sabor from Tarzan!

  • Most epic scene in the movie

  • Also: If that horse is as smart as it's made out to be, Belle could have instructed it to kneel, which would allow her to get the Beast on the horse's back without carrying him.

Of course, having the strength to roll that enormous creature ONTO a horse it was probably equal to in weight... uh, well, the movie has talking candlesticks and dishes. Don't read that far into it, okay?

  • I was a child when this first came out, so the emotional impact of this scene was totally lost on me. The entire turning point of the movie hinges on that one moment where she could have ridden off to her freedom and left the Beast there to die, and almost does, in fact. Fantastic storytelling; one of my favorite scenes from the movie.

Some movies definitely get better with age!

  • Michelle Gonzalez the hipspanic-white girl would be as the beast & Dale Dutton the black boy would be as Belle.

  • Beast vs. a grizzly would be epic! LOL

  • 0:05 I can't help but think "run"

the emotion was shown so well here

  • the moment when the beast starts to cry because he made belle run away, i cry.

  • @askadetra I do not think he was really crying, but he looked like he was about to. I felt a sense of forgiveness toward him in that part.

  • @maya14belle don't argue fool. it is my opinion. do not try to make me think else. he was crying

  • @askadetra I wasn't trying to argue or forcing you to change your opinion. I was just saying what I thought. And please don't call me a fool, I meant no harm or malice. Would you like it if I or anyone called you a fool over a harmless remark? No.

  • @maya14belle oh you are so innocent. no, i would not take offend. call me fool if you want

  • @askadetra I am sorry if it seemed I was trying to change your opinion. I am not trying to seem innocent, I am genuinely remorseful. Also, I would rather not call anyone a fool, even though I admit at times, I can call people either angry, mean, etc.

  • always that this scene was fucking awesome.

  • I like how at :59 Phillipe turns into a cave troll.

  • Aren't wolves suppose to be shy, passive, and not wanting any business with humans. These wolves seem like they'll eat anything.

  • @Serdikhan It's a movie. Sometimes movies do not match real life.

  • @maya14belle The English voices suck, I like to say.

  • @Serdikhan wtf? go clean your ears out.

  • @ctn04132 They are clean and I've heard far better and more fitting for the characters voices with them.

  • @Serdikhan It's a kid's movie (though man, Disney could be scary before the 2000's), and a stereotype for wolves used almost all the time. I'd like it too if they made them more passive like in reality :/

  • @Serdikhan In real life, yeah. But the French have demonized wolves in their folklore ever since the minor ice age that took place in the 18th century, resulting in famine in both people and animals. Wolves carried off a few shepherd kids and sheep out of desperation and have gotten a bad rap ever since.

  • @Serdikhan Even the wolves that live around his castle are cursed I guess lol

  • @bobivd6688 My guess is the Black forest and the wolves in it are magically created by the enchantress. No idea how that was suppose to help the Beast, though.

  • @Serdikhan It was part of the curse that the enchantress put on.

  • @G2010J Not sure how a black forest filled with dangerous wolves surrounding the castle was going to help the Beast.

  • @Serdikhan Enchantress put a curse on him: for being so selfish and cold-hearted, he would become a Beast until finding a true love who loved him in return. She also cursed all the servants turning them into anthropomorphic objects, the castle became dark and lonley and the woods became infested with wolves. Years later, her spell was broken by Belle, and Prince Adam learned of his errors thanks to the actions of the Enchantress. (according to the enchantress in disney wikia).

  • @Serdikhan It's the middle of winter, and it's entirely possible that they've failed on the last several hunts, so they'd be willing to attack a target that they'd normally consider too risky. Plus a horse is about the right size of animal that they'd normally hunt, and it doesn't have antlers to make it more dangerous.

  • @Serdikhan I always thought the forest surrounding the castle was affected by the spell too, and maybe that's why the wolves are so.... evil. :P

  • @Serdikhan I think the wolves just really wanted the horse.

  • @Serdikhan It is winter. Maybe they're desperate? Starvation will drive you to take a lot of risks.

  • @Tyvadia Have you noticed that animals' heads in animated movies display perfect emotions. In real life that would be creepy.

  • @Serdikhan Probably would be. I can understand it in movies where the characters are animals, otherwise the audience couldn't empathize with them but in movies where the animals are supposed to be ordinary animals, it does seem kinda strange.

  • @Serdikhan yeah hollywood really gets animals messed up, not only are the wolves vicious monsters but they're the size of huskies, wtf?

  • @Linkfanoftheyear

Actually, wolves are known to hunt humans for food. That does not mean they fight in defense. Wolves and Polar Bears are really some of the few animals on earth that prey upon humans for sustenance.

  • @blackmumba111 i live in wolf country, i can tell you right now they DO NOT prey upon humans for food. That's bullshit what are you some stupid city slicker? No animals prey upon humans for food otherwise menstration would never have evolved, thats why creatures lower on the food chain reabsorb their uterine lining rather than excrete it, its because any species that had predators that left a blood trail behind it would be hunted to extinction.

  • @Serdikhan usually ya. but in this case horse in the middle of a forest + hungry pack of wolves = dinner

  • @Manalord921 Was the original quality of the movie this shitty? Everything looks tinted brown and darkened and washed out. And it makes Belle's hazel eyes look brown. Explains why Paige O'Hara lied to the public about Belle's eye color.

  • @Serdikhan its on youtube. if you watch the DvD of it it wont seem as blurry and stuff

  • @Manalord921 You mean like the Special Editon and the Diamond Edition. Ya, I've seen them. Now that's good quality. The original quality of the movie is very hard to find, and thank havens, I don't want anyone to watch that shitty quality. The Little Mermaid's original quality was far more superior to this.

  • @Serdikhan

some animals if there is lack of food will eat anything in their way, besides, this is Disney... people believe in different alternate universes, I mean come one... spell casting and a giant Beast, that's Earth-12 yo, haha

  • @Serdikhan Well, the grounds ARE cursed. Maybe the wolves became incredibly blood thirsty as a result?

  • @Serdikhan But it's winter. The wolves don't have something to eat. xD

  • I've never watched the english verison of this movie. But hearing how stupid the voices are, I'll never will.

  • 2:04 "FUUUUCK YOOOOOOU!!!!!!"

  • Thumbs up if you think this movie should be remade into a live action film with Emmy Rosum as Belle

  • haha that horses face is all like "damn! he fucked them up!"

  • 2 people go their ass handed to them by one beast while having twenty of their buddies with them.

  • The Beast is a total badass and I don't blame him even if he scared Belle. I mean if you had a rose which is your only scource of life and then someone foolishly tried to touch it, risking to make it fall, wouldn't you be a bit pissed off...?!?

  • @eddievaliant1 Belle did not know that though. That is why is was wrong of the Beast to lose his temper at her like that.

  • 2:15 FALCON PUNCH

  • I'd rather be a beast than some pitiful human or beast with human feelings

  • is it just me or is 2:16-17 an insane amount of wolves?

  • 2:46 the horse is like "damn.....did u see that"

  • i think when he falls over after winnign the fight hes saying to himself "oh damn its cold out here" and slump

  • i would to have beast as a BF lol i don't care if he is a creature like that, i think it would be Awesomeness

  • The beast was so much better and cooler as a beast than a human

  • I was shocked when a friend of mine looked at Belle with her hair down and then looked at me and said how much alike we looked.

  • You see. this is why guys are hot, they protect. Girls we can try. but honastly when were agenst someone who is stronger then we are its hopeless. But if a guy is fighting a guy its fair.

  • I felt angry at the Beast for scaring Belle off like that with his violent temper, but at 0:36, I can help but feel sad for him. He was so remorseful for what he did. If I were there, I would tell him "Go after Belle and tell her you're sorry! She'll forgive you if she sees how sorry you are!"

  • @maya14belle

i want to cut your head off >_<

  • @Girugamesshu88 Why do you say that? Did I say something wrong?

  • @Girugamesshu88 Sorry to bother you, but I still want to know why you said that.

  • @maya14belle

"Go after Belle and tell her you're sorry! She'll forgive you if she sees how sorry you are!"

i've never seen anything pathetic like this >_<

  • @Girugamesshu88 I would say that indeed! And it's not pathetic!

  • @maya14belle

    facepalm

  • @Girugamesshu88 I am genuinely sorry for making you do a face palm, but I have a right to defend myself.

  • @maya14belle

    :*:*:*

  • @Girugamesshu88 What does that mean?

  • This is my most favorite scene in the whole movie. It is a very well done turning point. The fact that one minute the Beast gave Belle a reason to make her believe that he was nothing but a violent and horrific monster by thrashing at the furniture in front of her very eyes and then in the next 2 minutes he gives her a reason to see him as a caring and good-hearted person by risking his life to save her from the wolves. It was a beautiful and deep start to their romance.

  • Best. Scene. Ever.

  • This reminds me of just a random fighting anime. I'd like to see it done in the style of Bleach or FMA. Still a classic scene from my childhood and yet wolves are my favorite animals 0.0

  • Now that I think about it, I'm curious....how in the hell did she manage to get him on the horse? O_o

  • Belle was the once to blame, because the Beast was just protecting his rose!

  • @Jam24511 Oh come on, if you saw a floaty, glowy rose in an enchanted castle, you can't tell me you wouldn't investigate.

Belle was an idiot for going in the west wing in the first place, though, so I'm with you on it being all her fault. He should have just told her part of the truth or something. When she was all "what's in the west wing" he could have been like "my room. Stay out."

  • @lycaonpictus77 Then Belle shouldn't have mentioned temper later on, because she hardly knew the curse or the magic flower back then, until Gaston attacked.

  • 2 people have been attacked by wolves!

  • i was like'Beat em all,Tickle their noses,wait,maim em!'

  • @ 2.06 bloody hell that's a beast!

  • This is one of those scenes that always stick with you just because it is so terrifying for Disney. This scared me more than the final battle on the Tower.

  • Did that wee girl get that big 'ol guy on that horse there?O_O if so then she's BEAST!

  • I still get the 'chills' at 2:06

    ... Twenty years later

    Everytime
