The Google site says "The following content has been identified by the YouTube community as being potentially offensive" re the content below. I did not mean this as a criticism or suggestion that Dr. Hart's excellent work is not of importance both for the fundamental science or, as he says, the applicability. The comments in the context of discussion on YouTube, etc. about sugar, that is, "sucrose") which is confused easily with the chemical term sugar and is probably how I wound up here.

You are talking about sugar in the generic chemical sense and attention should be paid to the confusion with sugar (sucrose). Glucose as you know comes from starch as well as sucrose and there is much confusion from Lustig's YouTube on this issue. He drastically exaggerates the importance of fructose and (despite his own work) obscures the importance of glucose.

Thank you so much! I don't understand much of this at all and I think I eat too much sugar an might get diabetes...
