  • you have very manly hands.

  • Unless you're barehandedly shifting through raw sewage, why even waste supplies on something like that cut?

  • @RaidenTheAlmighty That cut could get infected and go systemic. The purpose of the vid was to share how to stop a large blood loss. I experienced a very small cut while working and thought it might add some realism to the vid and show that the pepper stops the bleeding and it does not burn.

  • @homesteadprepper I suppose.

  • Great tip! Home remedies are always good to know.

  • @SultanOfShinola Thanks.

  • Oh My! I hope that wasn't cut just for us YT... Actually TEA is almost exactly the same as Quick Clot. What you show is a old home cure with some amped up myth. Sugar & honey are the only other confirmed I've found. As for the pepper never used it but heard of it as an infection cause but I'd use it if that's all I had...

  • @SECRETSURVIVE I'm not sure what you are calling an amped up myth. My family has used pepper for years to stop bleeding with no ill effects. Some people use old spider webs as a quickclot substitute and some of them have gotten infections. I would only use good clean and fresh pepper for wounds. Thanks for watching.

  • help stop these atrocities.

Teen Tortured, Dismembered, Beheaded by Trafficking Gang in Bethany, Oklahoma.

    By Robert Bunker

    Small Wars Journal

The 19-year-old who graduated from Mustang High School just last year was tortured, dismembered and beheaded. Parts of her body were found stuffed in a duffel bag and dumped behind a grocery store on Oct. 13.

  • Are those food-grade buckets?

  • @Notwilber3 Those are food grade 5 gallon buckets that I got from the wal-mart bakery for $1.

  • great vid thanks, but let's say someone has some gapping hole due to an injury, will cyene work for that too?

  • @WheepingWillow2 That was what I am really trying to convey but all I had was the small cut to do the demo. If you have enough cayenne to completely fill the hole and then some, the answer is yes the bleeding will stop. I stress, use this only if you do not have access to proper medical supplies or medical professionals. I hope that helps.

  • @homesteadprepper thanks

  • thanks new information is always welcome

    i use cornstarch

  • @shelladavis Thanks.

  • superglue

  • @yakyakyak69 It was military guys that figured out Superglue worked for topical cuts. But some people have a nasty allergic reaction to it. Instead of Superglue, I put Dermabond in my SHTF bag.

  • Spider webs, cornstarch, flour also. Now I add your suggestions to my list. This is fantastic. Thanks for the info!

  • @genmama1955 Thank you very much for your input.

  • Fresh coffee grinds will do it too homesteadprepper. Thanks for the advice.

  • @Oliviadarling Thanks for adding to the forum.

  • thank you for this vid.

  • @MsJonathan32 Thanks.

  • a slice of lemon on a cut will stop bleeding too, just rub it on a wound. It burns a little but it will stop bleeding in its tracks.

  • @sirstockings Thanks for the tip.

  • @sirstockings great info

  • now those are what i call man hands. not little flimsy moisterized girly hands. dont see hands like that too much nowadays.

  • Buddy, you have hands just like my dad. huge!

  • how do you get the buckets from wal mart for a dollar?

  • @mellbutler I ask the manager at the bakery in WalMart to save the 5gallon buckets they use and when is it convenient for me to pick them up. The workers are usually very nice and helpful. Good luck.

  • crazy glue, in a pinch. And of course, direct pressure to the wound will stop all but the most severe cuts

  • @takforalt Thanks.

  • Just asking... Isn't it only the true raw honey that has the antimicrobial properties? Was told that processed honey may not have that. Otherwise, cool videos, keep them coming.

  • @Flyinghammer1 I have used both on cuts and have had good results. I agree with you that the raw honey is more beneficial. Thanks for the input.

  • @Flyinghammer1 Sorry, I do think it is the amount of sugar in the honey which is the main antimicrobial. There is a bee antimicrobial called propolis. Not sure where in the bee hive it is found. Just a note: if I where to put sugar on my wounds here in Thailand, I would soon be covered in ants. Not a viable alternative here. use BFI powder. It may be hard to find but I swear by the stuff. It "clots" a bit and helps keep the wound dry which greatly speeds healing. I don't use anitbacterialcream

  • @takforalt

Dont appologize, This was my post... Am real sure I mentioned nothing about sugar....

"Just asking... Isn't it only the true raw honey that has the antimicrobial properties? Was told that processed honey may not have that. Otherwise, cool videos, keep them coming."

While I didnt google what it is that actually is in raw honey, Propolis as you say, I knew that there was something that is diminished in the processing of it. Good luck with the Ants.

  • @Flyinghammer1 it is true that only raw unprocessed honey is antimicrobial, processed honey loses its properties and is far less beneficial that the good stuff.

  • @Set2Survive where do you purchase the good stuff? thanks

  • @WheepingWillow2 flea markets, organic ranches or bee farms, organic food stores, but it must be RAW honey. Most but not all raw honey has comb in it, but just because it has comb, doesnt mean that its raw. Buy from your local, bee keeper.

  • @Set2Survive thanks so very much for your response.

  • Nice to know these tips. We always used the Antiseptic De-horning Powder (used to stop blood when removing horns from cows). A 16 oz bottle is about $5 at the local Tractor Supply store. A Russian guy I work with gave me another tip, ive tried it and it does work. To remove the sting from a minor burn........ piss on it. It hurts more at first, cuz its warm, but in a few min the pain will be gone.

  • Some fast food places have honey packs in there condoment section , so if you get into a real bind you can get some topical medicine for a nasty cut for free

but the fast food honey is pasteurized (heated) so its killed all the good microbes

  • @17hmr243 Thanks.

  • Flour will also clot blood.

  • @AwohaliSagwu Thanks.

  • @AwohaliSagwu Flour will also clot blood.

yes? or just make a putty?

  • Cool! Great "down-home" medicine.

  • @helidodge Thanks.

  • @helidodge Thanks.

  • sucking on a black tea bag will also stop mouth bleeding. It works quick and easy though it tastes awful.

  • @Richardofdanbury Sounds like a great tip. Thank you for sharing.

  • great info... hope i never need to use it...lol

  • @ghostsoftherepublic Thank you for watching.

  • I LOVE IT... YA CUT YOUR HAND AND THOUGHT.... HONEY GET ME THE PEPPER... WE CAN MAKE THE QUICK CLOT VID!!

    KEEP ON KEEPIN ON BROTHER

  • @DIXIECONFEDERATEDAWG That is exactly how it came to be.

  • @spokelse0 I've never used any of the medical grade Quickclot and hope I never have to.

  • spent a few years working with your hands I see. Reminds me of my old man, good video and info.

  • I worked for loctite(superglue etc) and the guys in the plant used to use it all the time to close small cuts with no problems..they also produced a variant for animals..

  • @deccied Great tip, thanks.

  • did u cut your self just for this video or had u done it before

  • @megamrssalvatore I was working on those cabinets and cut it. I figured that I would take advantage of the situation and make a vid. It was not a very deep cut.

  • @homesteadprepper i thought tht was probably the case :-) either way this was good to know the other day because i sat on a pair of scissors and as u could imagine my leg was bleeding quite a lot and this helped

  • @megamrssalvatore I'm glad that it worked for you and thank you for your feedback.

  • Thank you so much for the information and the link.

  • @homesteadprepper ground sage is awesome, please research all the medicinal properties. Also plantain can be used, yes that common weed that grows everywhere! herbalcomdotcom is a great online store for the cheapest spices and herbs!!! I use them all the time! Horse radish is great for head colds too.

  • I too have used cayenne pepper. The small spice bottle size is perfect. Vacuum sealed and put in all the first aid kits. Great stuff.

  • @papaprepper Thank you for your input.

  • Cornstarch will work stop bleeding as well. Thanks for the video.

  • @katzcradul Thank you for the input. I will add it to my to my bag of tricks.

  • knifefight19, The joke is on you. That is a real cut but a fake hand and fake cayenne, black pepper, sugar and honey. Those cabinets and wal-mart buckets are fake too.

  • hahah this fucker is using ketchup on that bitch
