As a kid something about a creepy old green man inviting you to his home hidden deep within the swamp didn't agree with me. So it definately Star Trek for me, first show to show a future were there are no racial differences but still willing to kick alien butt.

Starwars is just stupid entertainment...... Star Trek is Philosophy!. There is no Way to play the "versus" Game.. you should watch Kurk, Picard maybe the janeway series... there is much more Brain in Star Trek... O.K, Starwars sounds more entertaining than geek StarTrek ! But Startrek is a physically realistic Simulation of human live in maybe 90-150 years........ and just a little story to entertain.... If you a MAN, you LOVE Physic!, if you love Physic, you love STAR TREK!

Totally agree on the philosophy of Star Trek... I love them both, but Star Trek is fun and teaches you real life lessons.

As for how many movies, you need to hit Google there Matt... 50,000 Star Wars movies? Try 6, OK, I'll give you 7 I guess.
