wow...I remember that in 1984 my aunt, uncle and cousin (who lived in the states) came back to Chile on their holidays and my cousin brought me "Lasertech" as a gift., though here in Chile nobody ever knew what these figures were...I musthave been the only child in my country that knew "Mantech" toys...what childhood memories!!
I had all of the Mantech toys, the price was the Battle Station Laser 2. I loved these toys. Yes each came with a comic. I just saw the Battle Station Laser 2 on Ebay for $249!!!

Thanks for this one. I was watching some of the Centurions vids up here, and remembered the Mantechs but couldnt remember what they were called. My bro and I had all of them.
Yeah, I don't see how it's a Transformers rip-off. More like a cross between Micronauts and Centurions.
Don't have any toys, but I do have issue #1 of the Archie comic they did for it, which is so disjointed it rivals Power Lords for the title of worst 80s toy-based comic.
I had one of the bad guys when I was a wee child...it seems like when I was a kid, I always thought REMCO toys sucked...but, now that I collect the shit...it's what I seem to buy most...weird...

I remember these toys were always shelved way in the back of the store and usually only costed about a buck each figure.

Transformers knock-offs? I believe these figures are original molds. I may be wrong. Funny video! ^__^

WOW! I remember these. I had them all except for the Bald Blue Guy whichever 'Tech' he was. They came with a miniature comic book. Kill myself!
