I really like your competition program! Although you were nervous, you looked graceful on ice ;) How is it possible that the others had longer programs? You were bronze or silver cathegory? I think you should start competing again after having a baby :)

You should've been placed with other skaters of your age and ability. That being said, congrats on making it through your first competition. I'm an adult skater (30) and just started taking classes back in January, and have hopes to do my first ever competition this coming spring.
You had the guts to go out there and skate your best, so who cares if you came in last place. Now you know what to expect you can work harder and get yourself on the podium. Well done.

too much fluff in the begining of the program you also need to work on your landings a bit. that is not a lutz... it starts on an outside edge, you were WAY inside. and as for the double sal axel thing your coach shouldnt have put you in such an advanced level

That's really great, you are beautiful on ice! Only few things miss, like try to be faster in your jump and your cross-cut. But else that you are very good, and I wish you good luck for your futur :)

u are really good. i have been skating for bout a year. i can do lunge, sit spin, scratch spin, spiral, camel spin, axel, salchow........... but it takes alot of practice i go 2 times a week some times 3. and i stay until like 11pm im very determined. if you staay commited u can go FAR!
hey...well you didnt COMPETE against them if they did those jumps and you didnt. You should have competted against girls in your division....not girls in the higher levels. You have really good flexibility...i cant do an outside edge spread eagle yet...but you really need to work on your legs. They look weak as hell out there-no offence- but try keeping your stomach in and chest out. Good Luck!

Hi thanx! I do have my competition on tape but I am too embarassed to post it on you tube! I didn't even do 5% as good as I usually do in practice, my nerves took over my brain and my muscles. Do you do adult competitions? What level are you in? I competed in Adult Pre-Bronze since it was my 1st competition, and I have tested my Bronze MIF. I am testing my silver MIF in June. My coach told me to not test my Bronze Freestyle until my next competition in June. Great work!!!

that was a great program! for a first competition, not falling is probably the best. My first competition, I had an axel and fell. That was embarrassing. I had to compete against girls though coz most guys didn't make it or had to back out. Well, i won first. That was 4 years ago and I need to get back in competition shape. So, in short... be proud!

the coach from the other rink saw me skating and she said that i had to compete in the high level,but her daughter was competing to and she does axels and double salchows,she knew that i had to be in a lower level but i think she was afraid that i should place higher then her skaters...
Wow! You did GREAT!! You have a very nice "look" on the ice. You are very graceful. A lot of people with doubles (including myself) don't have this. Don't worry about the small mistakes on the jumps. The only thing I noticed is that you have to hold your ending pose a bit longer. Old coach told me it is important to "Finish" the routine. Hold pose for a few seconds and smile at the judges.
The music and choreography are excellent. Love this program. Congratulations!!!!

I am not having a competition soon, just my fs3 test, so I have to get a program. But I have to get the elements more consistance first. One of them is backward outside pivot, and the way you did it was beautiful. =D

In this program I liked the most the spirals they're great.
And its strange to see a tall person in figure skating I'm 1'72 and sometimes feel strange :)

aww thank u Camille,u always make me feel better:) and off course u can use the last move!!i really don't mind!!and yeah that kinda freaked me out,i was like"oh my god i don't have a chance!! i hope i do better next time and without so much stress!!
the coaches where really mad i was last!!they said it was really unfair!!
hope next time i can do an axel and double salchow so i can compete against the same level!!

Thats really unfair! Is kind of ridiculous how some people care so much about competition like this and went over the top. I am sure you will have axels and dbl sals next time. =]
I am not having a competition soon, just my fs3 test, so I have to get a program. But I have to get the elements more consistance first. One of them is backward outside pivot, and the way you did it was beautiful. =D
