R.I.P. hip hop. This destroys black music and adds to the people's arguments that slam it. At least Common, Cl Smooth, Black Thought and Mos Def still rep. Back in the day hip hop artists strived to have their own style and sound while displaying the art of story telling. Now they say stuff like "Mammy" and that's the whole hook. Sounds like a million other songs out. Love hip hop, hate rap. Black music should make a person think with it's rhymes but this gives it a bad name.
