also it looks more unique and expensive as it is only availiable in 16gb which is more money, no one i know has a white iphone, they are quite rare and will pick up a few stares!!

You missed the tool which opens the SIM card slot for you inside the menu box. I did too at first.

It looks fine in white, even more tasty than the black.

P.S. - I've always hated the look of the aluminum iPhone 2G back for some reason, looks too cheap and needs to be covering the whole back, which it doesn't. The 3G looks much much better I think.
