although i was saddened by the trade, getting rid of manny got rid of a lot of distractions in the club house.
i want a player thats going to consistently put in 100% everyday and do what hes getting paid to do. while manny is one of the best hitters to play the game, when manny wants something, he'll do whatever he wants to get it.
jason bay on the other hand... great offense, great defense, and a great guy. thats the kind of player i want. i'll miss manny, but hey, life goes on

Well, so far, Jason Bay has been amazing. He could have a shot at Player of the Month.
We're also doing a lot better without Manny.
Don't get me wrong. I miss Manny. But he wore out his welcome.

I guess it was a pretty bad trade statistically, but by getting rid of manny you're getting rid of a lot of distractions. Also, terry francona before making the trade actually gave a poll to his team regarding manny staying or going and everyone annanamously voted and the majority wanted him out.
either way this video is FUCKING AWESOME
The only thing you should have done is played the song, "should I stay or should I go" in the background rather than dazed and confused. :D

NO IT WAS A HORRIBLE FKIN IDEA. Why the fuck would u sell this guy who alone, probably fills up 1/3 of a stadium and creates constant excitement. AWFUL TRADE.
