I read the Sinclair book on Resveratrol where the Dr. makes some suggestions about how to do some due diligence on the company you purchase from. Do the research, read the book. This is your body!
@ArtyomZakharenko Hehe... yea. At least in terms of Paraslim which was the reason I came to this video, Resveratrol is one of the ingredients of this farse product; others being; vitamin B-6, EGCG, Apple Cider Vinegar, Cayenne & Giner Root powders. All of these are beneficial, but are far better in a decent diet, and Paraslim actually provides an uncessarily high dosage of Resveratrol (contrary to this poster). U get enough in red wine, as do the French, or Resvantage. Anti-ageing though ??? No!
Mr Jerry neumarks is right. You know what you need to watch your own video again (lol). He caught all your own words and he is damn right. In next video production you need to be careful.
A tonic, or tablet, or powder with resveratrol are all exposed to oxygen.. Resveratrol is a type 2 protein an antioxidant as well, and when exposed to oxygen will degrade. There's only one product that makes pharmaceutical grade resveratrol and that is Resvantage.
I think you'll need to clarify that last statement. It appears to be ambiguous and confusing. What info do you have proving Vivix is "more powerful?" How is drinking 1000 bottles equal to 100 glasses? And if resveratrol is the active ingredient, how can other ingredients in Vivix make it that much better?
As directed, I did check out the above website only to find it was authored by Shaklee Co., hardly a non-bias scientific organization, still claiming that their entire 30 day supply is equal to only 3000 glasses of wine, only a fraction needed to produce the results claimed by the research scientists in the 60 minute video. I even wrote to the Shaklee Co. about this and they refuse to respond.
I guess all those responding didn't look into this in more detail. Here's what I found out. I went to Vivix's website and they state one dose for one day is equal to 100 glasses of wine. According to the scientists on 60 minutes it would take 1000 bottles of wine per DAY or about 4000 glasses of wine. Therefore taking one Vivix dose is equal to 1/40th of the amount necessary at $3 a shot. So you would need to take over one entire 30 day supply a DAY to get any real benefit. An expensive habit!!
Actually Vivix is 10 times more powerful than Resveratrol by itself, so the resveratrol content you would get by drinking 1000 bottles is equal to 100 glasses, but you still wouldn't egt the benefits of the Vivix because it's not JUST resveratrol in the mix, and that's much cheaper than drinking 1000 glasses a day. I mean even for cheap $5 wine, that's like $1657 cheaper!!
The amount of resvertrol in a 30 day supply of vivix is the amount that is found in 3000 glasses of red wine. However, the potency is 10 times that. It is in a concentrated form and it has other ingredients in it, so you didn't look closely enough. jdm
Jerry, sorry YOU didn't look closely enough. The potency IS the amount of resvertrol. The other ingredients have NOT been specified and proven on any non-bias basis. The resvertrol has, according to 60 minutes. And even if the potency WAS 10x more, if you do the math that only improves the "potency" by a factor on 1/3, still much below the 3000 glasses a day.
I looked closely enough. The potency IS NOT just the resvertrol. Vivix has other ingredients that make it 10 times more powerful than just resvertrol alone. You are coming from the position that the resvertrol is the only active ingredient and you are wrong. The resvertrol is not the only active ingredient in Vivix anymore than it is in CoQHeart. It is in both products, but both products carry other active ingredients. The CoQHeart also has CoQ10 as well as resvertrol. jdm
Not being a scientist, you are not qualified to make any assessments, esp. whether I am right or wrong. Even Skaklee wouldn't answer my direct question about the amount. As far as I know, there is no scientific evidence that any ot the other ingredients actually work.... just testamonials.... not scientific.
Don't ask me, ask 60 minutes. They quoted the doctor that "discovered" the resvertrol, and he said that's what it would take based on his calculations.... which is why he was synthesizing it. Look at the original 60 minute interview available on Utube.
