the shows ok, actig iz kinda bad, the dialog they use n the emotions are noy complete. i think its a good foundation but lacks action, thriller. i LOVE ZOMBIE MOVIES N GAMES but this show has potential. is good enuf to watch but now wow awesome. Season 2 looks alot better tho!! 1st episode was good.

The Walking Dead is a slow paced show, If you want a deep storyline it'll take awhile to develop. Anyone with short attention spans who likes zombie action should check out the abysmal Resident Evil films, otherwise stick with this high quality horror drama.

The first episode was good. The next two episodes... I just can't watch this anymore. I am so disapointed. Who are these people with Glenn? Since when is Lori making this a habit with Shane and not regretting it? Since when did they hole up in a department store with some biker dude handcuffed to the roof? I had to remind myself constantly throughtout the second ep. that I was still watching the Walking Dead because you could have fooled me! The pilot was fine, but the rest is pure crap.

@Lobos222 Because there are points in the comic where you're like 'I'd love to see this in action' and such and then movies and tv shows leave it out, change it up. I hate that. Stay true to the original. Because then you get all these fans who think the TV show is so cool and they have no idea it came from a comic and then they read the comic and go 'That's no very good.' and it pisses me off. JUST ONCE, I want SOMETHING in this world to be done right when going from book to movie, JUST ONCE.

my cable company doesn't carry AMC,but was lucky that IFC reaired the Pilot this past week.I love the series,never had the chance to read the comic.but it follows George.A.Romero's classic zombies.not the running,ninja like zombies from Dawn of the Dead remake,etc...I give it 5 stars.hope hulu shows the series.

The only pilot i've ever liked more than this is the one for Lost, which still holds up as the best pilot, but this was awfully close.

Well then! ...nope can't do it. I watched it twice, saw the premier, then watched the recording on my dvr, it really went above and beyond my expectations. But we all must keep in mind this is solely the pilot and things may change so don't go saying crazy things like you enjoy the show more than the comics. At least wait like 3 more episodes. But I do have high hopes.

Loved the show .. And i was pleasantly happy with the additions of dialogue and character moments. Good stuff fo-sho.. what did you think of them reveling the survival of ricks family before he gets to the camp? It was an interesting choice I guess. The only real difference I noticed thus far.

Really, really enjoyed the Walking Dead. AMC is building an epic line up of shows. Between Rubicon and the release of this show this season, I've been more than happy with AMC. Can't wait to see the next episode.
