at 1:30 i was like the 70's are gory and awesome then at 2:04 i was like my childhood revisited and at 2:21 i was like Spock can u read me and at 2:04 i was like just sit right back and you'll hear a tale... at 3:28 Yowl. at 3:42 i was like here's the story of a stupid idiot. at 4:23 i was like uve just crossed over into the twilight zone
That cracked me up, using a Michael Myers mask as a Captain Kirk mask (since of course we all know that the original Michael Myers mask was a modified Captain Kirk mask). That was my favorite room in the maze. Thanks for the scares.
@captjafo good job by flashing live long and prosper at the camera as the cameraman leaves you were the only one who did a act that acknowledge what you are representing unlike the other members who were just doing it with usual actions
Just looking at the videos of this place (unfortunately, I don't think I live anywhere near this place, so I can't really go), I love the music. I just like how they did the themes and, even though it's a different track for each set, they almost all blend together really well. And some of these actually sound good. The Twilight Zone, the guitar and drums with the theme, that one's good.....Yeah, kind of missing the point of it being scary, hehehe...
What do you expect? 90% of Haunt's patrons won't be familiar with any of these shows from the 1950s. And the actors' energy was pretty low, if this vid is evidence.
Um, only a couple of these shows were from the 1950s, but you have a good point -- people in their 30s grew up watching all these shows in syndicated reruns, but today's younguns are probably mostly only familiar with the ones that recently got turned into movies.
Ah, I hadn't heard it wouldn't be making an appearance this year. Is this info on a site somewhere (I don't see anything yet on ultimatehaunt dot com), or do you know people who work at Knott's? I'm curious what other mazes will and won't be coming back this year, especially Red Moon Massacre, since it wasn't possible for me to tape it last year. (Also curious whether The Grudge 2 will come back, given that it was so tied in with theatrical release, and the DVD is already out.)
go to themeparkadventure dot com and scroll down to were you see a 35 click it and it has the lineup for this years haunt plus pics of the mazes wood.
Cool, thanks!! Yeah, I'd been to the TPA site recently but completely missed that you have to click on the bare "35" to get the coverage for this year's Haunt, since the only text around it talking about the Haunt links to the 2006 coverage. Very tricky of them.
A lot of new stuff this year! Glad Feary Tales, which my camera cut off much of, is returning, but sorry to see that I missed my chance to capture Red Moon Massacre. Bummer.
I'm glad, though, being a big vampire fan, even though when I taped it last year it wasn't as great as it's been in previous years. Also happy to see the return of The Grudge 2, which I wouldn't have predicted, as well as Red Beard's Revenge and 13 Axe Murder Manor, though I wouldn't have been too sorry to see The Asylum, Lost Vegas, and Dark Realm - Laser Rage say goodbye.
Anyhow, thanks very much again for the heads-up on that page.
yea i think that lazer rage grudge 2 and lore should have been dropped instead of hatchet high and terrorvision. but i think killer clown kollege will be cool and that doll house one oooo thats gonna be scary!!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.....halloween horror Nights has nothing on haunt. they dont even come close to the scares that us vets at haunt get, hell our rookies can get better scares.
You can optionally buy ChromaDepth 3-D glasses to wear as you walk through. These use refraction and diffraction to shift the apparent depth of colors closer to you or farther away, depending on the color. The 3-D mazes use pure, bright, blacklit colors to intensify the effect. It even works if you save your glasses and then watch these videos, although not as well since the colors don't come through as pure or intense, and because of the lack of a different view of the scene in each eye here.
Contains parodies of Batman, Happy Days, American Idol, Sesame Street, Star Trek: The Original Series, Gilligan's Island, M.A.S.H., I Love Lucy, Family Guy, The Brady Bunch, Dukes of Hazzard, I Dream of Jeannie, The Twilight Zone, and The Outer Limits.
You can also see angles on Montezooma's Revenge and Jaguar that the public wouldn't usually get to see. (more) (less)
In my opinion, there are other mazes with better music (e.g. The Grudge 2), but this certainly is the most innovative of the maze soundtracks, using the technique pioneered by the Haunted Mansion at Disneyland where each room has its own soundtrack, but they're all running in sync with a common beat and in compatible keys. I talk a bit more about this on the linked-to "full details" page.
I think they should shorten down the Outer Zone room and add atleast 2 more rooms. Such as "Cleave it to Beaver" (Leave it to Cleaver) and "Laguna Kills"
Yeah, that is overly long, and only tenuously related to the Twilight Zone / Outer Limits theme. I think that part originated at the end of the defunct alien maze and they just figured it was a shame not to use it somewhere.
OMG I miss the music so much!!!!!!!!!! I love the rocked-out versions of the TV theme songs :-)

There were some parts with surprises, but not much in the way of scares. This was supposed to be one of the funny mazes, not one of the scary ones.

When i went in 06 [ i think... maybe 05] this was the only scary maze... i got freaked out a few times... towards the end.
