  • que bella musica

  • This is one of the albums thatthat made a big difference in my way of concieving music.

  • I really like this piece, too. I saw Ravi Shankar at George Harrison's 74 concert at Cow Palace, and get to take my daughter to see him again 37 years later at Davies Hall SF! I hope he includes some of this Glass collaboration music.

  • Brilliant Trees

  • I am a musician of over 20 years, and I find very little that keeps me interested, but this piece of music does it for me every time I hear it - I absolutely love this piece.

  • This sounds really similar to a tune in naquoyqaatsi.

  • (For a Philip Glass venue into france, he told a journalist interviewing him, Ravi Shankar was allready teatching indian music in some Paris musical's institutions. So he attended the teatching, that's how they meet.. it was ten years before London musicians such as Lennon put him in front of the stage. He was allready well known in musical circles and well respected.)

  • 3 people were on acid.

  • @Pellinore1990 lol i'm pretty sure if someone were on acid, they would love this even more!

  • @DeepAstralJourneys But people on acid can interpret words :). or lost sense of spacial distances.

  • Sheer Brilliance .. Wow .. Unique composition .. Salute the legends

Its a challenge just to follow the rhythm pattern, even if you understand that its 7-beat one ..

  • does anyone know where i could get sheet music for any piece by shankar and glass. its for a project i want to do in college

  • The transition from 3:07-3:56 is especially alluring.

  • Seedpod sun send me somewhere along the wind's dream

dew drop do not fall until i have seen the world thru you.

  • If I were to sum up this song in one word, I would choose the word Yes.

  • You didn't said who's on drums.

  • That might be Abhiman Kaushal (tabla). Tabla are indian drums.

  • A marvellous piece of music from dito album.

  • that is a great photo at 3:30

  • @DiBahi Oh,YES :).

  • I love both of them! They make me feel so well.... thank you, Ravi and Philip! <3
