But technique is completely different you don't play the same things on an acoustic because they sound different generally if you only spent two years on an acoustic your not gonna be like throwing down modal solos or really crazy intricate runs or things like that. 2 years on an acoustic you're most likely still gonna be working on chords and basic major and minor stuff. You'de still have to learn all you scales and applications.
