Okay, this is not about changing what I or you believe. This is about the fact that the Bible tells us very clearly the ways that God has said we are to come to Him. He has also said that there will be many people who will follow 'another Jesus' (2 Cor 11:4), because of false signs. I've been in the Charismatic movement for over 40 years, so I have experienced plenty. I have never heard so much unbiblical rubbish as what this poor girl speaks. My heart aches for the deception she is in. Shalom.

I just know that God moves differently for others and for some of us, we may have yet to physically “see” God move. Don’t cast down everything she says until you have experienced it yourself. She doesn’t care if you believe her or not. She knows what God did for her and it got her to helping people follow Christ.
Bottom line; this can be moving, thought provoking, and make you want to know God more, and all sorts of other things that are not BAD things. BUT, if it's not in line with what the Bible says, then we are to discard it. Paul said; "But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed." Gal 1:8. There's not an account of sinners anywhere in the Bible coming to God without repentance first. Look it up.

Uhmmm... she's actually speaking to leaders/disciples, already saved people. :) And I believe the street light thing is not the whole thing.Of course she will have to pray the sinner's prayer but the streetlight thing was more of a God-preparing-her thing. You know what I mean? But oh well, we haven't heard about the more things God has done in her life that made her not just know that He is real but that also He loves her and Jesus is the way for salvation. :)
@animaticToshiue Hi, I want to say here, that I don't dislike Jenn, I dislike her teaching, which is quite different. Rom 10:17 says; "Faith cometh by hearing, & hearing by the Word of God." Jesus said that a person's words show the true state of their heart. (Matt 12:34, Lu 6:45) As I posted before, her blasphemous mockery about the the angels around the throne of God don't show a reverence for a Holy God and the Holy angels. Jude says the archangel Michael didn't even disrespect Satan (v. 9)
:) I don't know if the thing about the angels was in this video but anyway, I remembered this beautiful verse: Everything is pure to those whose hearts are pure (Titus1:15a). I am sure that if that thing is indeed mockery, God will correct Jenn and she will change. :)

What this verse means is that the pure will REGARD pure things as pure, but those who are unbelieving will not do so. Her words show the true state of her heart. God's Word doesn't lie.

There is a verse to contradict every thought in the bible which is why some catholics become nuns and never have sex (completely extra biblical but do they get flac?) OR AT LEAST believe in me because of the work you have SEEN ME DO.” She was ten and I believe because of her faith to ask God to show her he was real, He answered her. God says to come to Him as children; children will always ask an adult to show them how, or teach them. They are always looking for proof. God being the Father He is gave it to her. =)
@tonyag010 I was saved when I was 7, yes, I said 7 years old. It was in a little Baptist church and the message that night was the simple Gospel message about how we are all born in sin because of Adam & Eve's sin and we have inherited that sinful, self-centred nature, but how Jesus came and died in our place, took God the Father's righteous anger for our sin upon himself, so we could be saved. I remember being sorry for my sins and the fact that Jesus had to die in my place so I could be saved.

Some say experience counts for more these days, but that's NOT biblical. Jesus said; "An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign". The Bible warns that false teachers will lead people astray by doing signs & wonders. They are NOT proof of God's working, just supernatural activity. Watch her talk about black & white.

She speaks later about the Holy angels around the throne of God having FARTING contests! Isaiah was a nervous wreck when he saw these angels, as was John, until they were comforted by the Lord, but she can talk such foolishness? and laugh about it? Prov 9:10: The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding. pp Pr 1:7,Ps 111:10

i'll tell you why people crash and burn after they leave....because the depth of " teaching" like this is so shallow that they are planted and die because they STARVED TO DEATH. People are riding the wave of emotion in these movements and not the life changing truth and knowledge of christ from God's Word that comes from TRUE STUDY AND TEACHING OF SCRIPTURE. Which is absent in this ah, talk or whatever it is.

I just want to point out that part of what she was saying was people don't get into studying truth and really knowing God for themselves which is why people who get cut off crash and burn. This teaching is pointing out that the Church wont do it for you, listening to true study and teaching of scripture isn't what will get you to the point where you wont fall away, it's the personal relationship with God that will hold you in.

Maybe the BSSM should teach their students Ps 1 particularly vs 2,3 ...but his delight is in the law (scriptures) of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by the streams of water. which yields its fruit in season...
This way when the students are "clipped off" from bethel their roots are in the Word of God and not in an emotional high that they no longer have now they have left bethel
@nzjunglist well I went to BSSW '09 (not BSSM) which is where this is from and they did teach us things that are rooted in the word of God. Now, if you were there for BSSW 2009, maybe you have a different outlook but when I went, after I left, I was never the same again.
