Well, when I clicked to download it, it does it, then it brings me to where it is saved to. I click the "ePSXe" application, and it asks me whether to run, extract all, or cancel. So I click on run, and I receive the following message:

"This application has failed to start because burutter.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem." That's is just about as far as I get with this emulator, lol.

@SiloNova25 OK, what you have to do is go to dll-filesdotcom and search for the dll files that are in the error message then after downloading them extract them to the folder where you ePSXe installed

I have problem with pad. maybe you can help me yesterday when i played everything was ok. but now when i run iso i can't press any button on ps2 controller, ps3 controler or keyboard. When i configure cotrollers everything work wuthout problems, i tried configure controller with analog ON and OFF and nothing hope you can help. My problems start when i downloaded epsxe 1.70 now controlers didnt work on 1.6 1.6 1.7 ;/ cant play :(

it's possible that the game needs a patch so google if you're game needs a patch or not, hope that helps

Everything I try to open ePSXe I get an error: "ePSXe.exe - Unable to Locate Component. This Application has failed to start because zlib1.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem." I've reinstalled ePSXe multiple times, please help.

Write in google zlib1.dll and you'll find the first link for dll files download you can download it from there then put the file(zlib1.dll) in the same directory as ePSXe

does ePSXe have some sort of built in screen saver or something? I very sure that screen saver in my computer activates only after two hours...

but when I play a game usin this emulator (at full screen), after about 10-15 mins the screen goes black (there still sound though), and the i had to move the mouse to activate the screen again just like a screen saver

it wasn't much of a bother at first but after the screen blacked out in the most inconvinient of times, it got annoying. (i can only get Carlos beheaded by Hunters (RE3) so many times before it got irritating...)

Alright, I got it to work. I used a different video and sound configs, etc. Now the only problem I get is when I download games. After downloading all part, I extract them into the desired location, but then, there is no ccd file. I can't play the game without the ccd file. Any idea what's going on? Some games I download, after extracting them, it auto-creates a folder with the name of the game on it, and clicking the folder has the ccd and img files in it, etc. Some games don't auto-create.

You don't always need these ccd files, But the times you need them just get an .img converter to any other ePSXe supported extension OK

When I run the epsxe program and load a game (ISO), the program just crashes and gives me the whole, "Windows has stopped working," etc. etc. blah blah blah. Then it closes on me. People say it's just because I'm using a Vista. They also say I have to disable DEP or something. What else? It still doesn't work.
