  • wow that was a good game really close until the end

  • I gained some good knowledge from this, thank you :)

  • i only have one question

If you use a protecter to protect can it fight back? because in order to protect he has to exhaust so he couldnt fight back could it?

  • Great tutorial now i know how to play :)

  • thanks Gleaar

  • @maxxor132 You are welcome.

  • Are talents and abilities the same thing on the gargoyle pet card under its unholy talents it says you cannot put frost talents or blood talents into your deck but my friend used a chains of ice card against me and used the gargoyle pet card in his deck. Is that legal?

  • @ThatsFresh26 Your friend may use Chains of Ice, because it is not a frost talent ability, it is just a frost ability. If it was a frost talent, it would have it written there like the Gargoyle pet has.

  • @Gleaar Thank you that was really heplful. Now i can run it in my deck.

  • @Gleaar How many gargoyles can you run in a deck? 4 or 1? Because on the side of the card is says pet (1)

  • @ThatsFresh26 You can have 4 cards in your deck, this rule counts for every card (exept those which have the word "Unlimited" in the right side of their Tag bar - it is the thin bar between an image of a card and its text bar.) The Tag you are describing means how many cards of that kind you may have in play. There are a lot of cards which have this restriction. So it means that you may have 4 Gargoyles in your deck, but you may have just one Gargoyle in play. If you would like to summon another

  • @ThatsFresh26 Gargoyle, you have to destroy the previous one, putting it to your Graveyard. Other cards that have similar restricition are for example : equipment cards, Mage's Water elementals, Warlock's demons and some unique allies like Malfurion Stormrage (cost 8, 3/8, protector, stealth, untargetable, effect : returns an ally from your graveyard back to play at the start of your turn).

  • @Gleaar How many would you put a deck? Im finding that im having alot of allys but not as many quest cards so that i will be able to play them. i would ether be running 24 or 22 allys. and then i would have enough room for 12 to 14 quest cards and 20 abilities

  • @ThatsFresh26 You don't have to have exactly 60 cards in your deck, you may have more, 60 cards per deck is only the lowest boundary for your deck to play with...so you may run more Quest cards in your deck in order to have more resources ;) good luck with playing

  • @Gleaar Ya but 60 cards gives you the best percentage of getting the cards you want. thank you very much for answering my questions you have been very helpful.

  • @ThatsFresh26 You are right, however, there are sometimes good cards that you need to find a place for. This is a common problem mostly in the beginnings, I do have the same problem. You need to balance your deck, but when you start, you do not have much choice and you just simply need to put every card you find in your starter deck and about 5 boosters. I am glad that I have helped you, if you have any other questions, do not hesitate and write me, I still follow this video ;)

  • @Gleaar Thank you. Can i just tell you my deck so far and see what you think about it? Ill just send it directly 2 you.

  • Wow, this really helped.

    Thanks!

  • Can your hero use abilities of different specs if it doesn't say it requires a certain spec?

  • Comment removed

  • @MrMoviesFTW Older versions of cards have specified heroes. It means that it is given, what spec the heroes are using. You had to search for hero that you wanted to play with in order to have a particular spec and you have to customize your abilities to suit to hero's spec. Now you may choose, what spec will you hero use and you only need to pay attention, if you are using just talent abilities from one spec.

  • When the kid in the red killed one of your allys for 3 damage and it then did 3 damage to his hero he put the dice wrong he should have had 12 damage throughout that game. Just pointing it out haha. This video was extreeeeemly helpful. Thank you.

  • Ok thanks

  • Really enjoyed video.. Found it very helpful in learning how to play. Do you have recommendations for new players learning this game who never played tcg's before?

  • @nightgoblinshaman i would recommend not matter what TCG you decide to play that you purchase a starter deck as it will give you everything that 1 player needs to get started with rules and it is more cost effective if you decide that you don't enjoy playing the game you bought, if you decide that you like it you an get commons and uncommons cheaply on EBay to expand your decks. If you really like it, start buying sealed booster, if you have toe cash, buy booster boxes, it ends up being cheaper

  • And what can u tell me about "monster allies"

  • @maxxor132 Unfortunately I can't tell you much about the "Monster Allies" as I haven't collected the new batch of cards yet

  • @maxxor132 I've read something about them recently and I may tell you some info. The "monster allies" work like classic allies, they can be run in every deck, no matter the faction. There are, however, monster Heroes and if you play a monster Hero, you can't put a Horde or Alliance ally in your deck. Monster Allies have many beneficial effects and they work the best with a monster Hero. They have been created to allow the players to customize their deck as much as possible.

  • Do u hav 2 play a resource each turn??

  • @maxxor132 No but you should try to, without resources you can't pay to play other cards

  • @maxxor132 No, you don't have to. It is optional to play a resource

  • @Gleaar Yeah I do think you are right. I hit my wowtcg database right after I posted to see and I couldn't find any neutral ability cards with that kind of trick so it most likely is the priest only ability. I haven't built my Priest deck yet so im a bit foggy on those particular cards, but i do have a Holy Paladin deck with four flash heals in it so you do make sense in that. I normally run my Fury Warrior after my in-game character as my primary.

  • @SheikarisXIII It is the same with the Paladin Holy Light, I just can't get it that's all...

  • @Gleaar Depending on the card specifics, I believe there is a neutral ability (no class specification) form of Flash Heal or a similar healing card that is named after its ability to be used quickly and suddenly to relieve damage. Could be wrong, but thats my guess. Also, great videos! Helped clear a lot of small questions and game play glitches and snags I was worried about for both free and tournament play. I would request possible Raid Deck descriptions please!

  • @SheikarisXIII I don't want to doubt your opinion, however, Flash Heal is a priest ability and I am sure that card is Flash Heal. I've searched for it and this ability is just for priests (very sure about it, 'cause I play for a priest)

  • @SheikarisXIII In addition, if you look carefully searching fot the class tag, you can see there is a priest staff in the top right corner

  • Hi, I was wondering, how is it possible that your Hunter hero uses Flash heal, which is a priest ability and a paladin ability Holy light...both of these are not supposed to be in your deck if you play with a Hunter. You cannot play other classes's abilities than your own.

  • Happy to see this video, even happier to see your son playing a rogue.

  • i wish my dad play tcg. the only one he plays is poker. haha

  • @XxMajorHaddenxX lol, Maybe you can teach your Dad how to play, I like the quality time it allows me to spend with my son

  • @Boardgamereview what deck do you run. i run with a night elf druid its really hard to find WoW tcg players here in sacramento. in sacramento we only play yugioh or magic but yugioh is king at my school

  • Cool video man sacramento needs more wowtcg players out here

  • @salvatrucha239 hey i live in sacramento and i do play but its kinda hard to find some1 who does

  • @XxMajorHaddenxX nice i know what you mean what part of sac you from? we are mainly at A1 citrus heights thats were i stay at man

  • @salvatrucha239 i live in power inn road but i go to metropolis comics but i hardly go there because i'm hella lazy just to walk there

  • @XxMajorHaddenxX Metro is all about the yugioh

  • @XxMajorHaddenxX look me up on facebook man see if we can get some games going beanerpower5150@msn.com

  • @salvatrucha239 lol, MTG seems to be the grand daddy of CCG's and most stores prefer to hold game nights for it rather than WoW TCG, the best thing to do in such cases is let your FLAGS know that there is an interest in your area for this game and they may hold CCG nights that include WoW TCG

  • @salvatrucha239 hey i am in Sacramento and i actually really want to start. Do you play on Tuesdays at A1 comics??

  • @chmorroboy81 at the moment no cause i work on tuesdays but msg me your email on facebook my bro plays to we been looking for more players but yea man msg me il let you know was up

  • good game! I learned a few things haha, did not know first player was not supposed to draw. I have a question though, do you have to place resources at the beginning of your turn or can you attack/play abilities and then place a resource?

  • @hoingaz You can place the resource card at any point in your turn, we just choose to play them at the beginning, you can sometimes benefit more by not placing the resource in the beginning of your turn

  • Hunter deck with Holy Light (Paladin Ability) in it?

  • @kamil291989 A few minor errors were made in this vid however, I believe the basics of the game play came through, for the record I also made an error with the "elusive" rule

  • This video was really helpful thanks :)

  • @BionicBeavver Thanks for the comment and watching
