If you want a professional flat iron and you are ok with spending around $140 I would highly recommend the Karmin G3 Salon Pro, it heats up to 450f with temperature control, dual voltage, tourmaline ceramic plates with rounded edges which makes it great for also curling your hair. Also has a 3 year warranty. If you do look at other irons make sure to stay away from irons with painted plates (colored plates) these can damage your hair.

I have this, its fucking junk, as soon as you go outside your ends curl up., its fucking gay ive had it for a year and id rather shave my head them use it once more
I have this brand, it it does not straighten well at all. I have much, much more thicker hair then you, maybe that's why. But it doesn't protect my hair from damage as well as others, and once I get outside, my hair curls. It probably works well for thin hair, but if you have thick hair (literally, thick hair) I wouldn't recommend this brand. Atleast I have a straightener 'cause my family cant afford a better one.
I have a black cherry one ^_^ There was only one left XDDD It heats up really fast =] and the cherry one is black with .... cherries on it HAHAHA but I really love this straighhtener =)
@xolucky13ox I have no doubt that Chi flat iron works much better, but for 1/3 of the price, I'm satisfied with this straightener. Just personal opinion.
these straightiners are ok my personal favorite is wet 2 straight straightner the Le Angelique doenst keep my hair straight? idk if it makes since but once i get out into the huminity it waves out..
this flat iron is horrible, it is NOT 100 % ceramic, I bought one from a booth in the mall, the plates fell out after 8 months and the metal under the ceramic coating started coming through after about 6 months!!!!!!!! I tried to take it back, and they packed up shop and were nowhere to be found, suppose to be a lifetime warranty
hi i've just bought a straightner from this company, but it's called " turbo" leopard straightener. and i wanna know if the turbo one also has 100% ceramic plates?
love this flat iron have almost 2yrs with it and still working the same bought the sedu1/12inches and have to go back to this one because sedu wasn;t working for me. So for me in my opinion is the best
I have that exact same flat iron, it works sooooo well! I LOVE IT, i've had it for about a year now and still works just as good as the day i got it lol. :) i got it for $100 dollars at the mall.
ok beuty choice has a deal if you buy the curler and put the code HAIRDAY in you get this for free. i already heard the curling iron is good and im glad the straightener is good and the deal is everything for 85$ seriously you need to check it out i might buy it myself
I got mine today! I was debating between Le Angelique and the Babyliss Xtreme. I'm so happy i got the Le Angelique, I was a little iffy about getting it because i never heard of it, but i got it because it said there was a lifetime warranty. hehe. :] I got mine for $29.99!!! :D I got the Red one and i'm LOVING IT!!!
I bought mine from Marshalls today! I got the Leopard-style straightener. Mine works really well. I curled my hair with it too, which took me sometime to get used to. Haha. Though I noticed that mine doesn't have a heat setting. I guess, it just go straight to 450F when I turn it on.
o yea well my brothers girlfriend gave hers to me but it works really well and it helps alot cuz its kinda hard to straighten my hair but not with the chi.
First, you have to start from basic care. Don't wash your hair too often or else you'll strip away the natural oil. Don't perm or dye your hair too often. Deep condition your hair occasionally. Before you straighten your hair, I would suggest you to use some heat protectant, such as the Tresemme Heat Tamer Protectant Spray or CHI Silk Infusion, both of these are available in drugstores, Target, or Marshalls/TJ Maxx. Refer to my haircare video for more products.
start with healthy hair... shampoo n condition. after letting it air dry 4 like 30-60 min after towel drying blowdry in a downward motion..ex the nozzle shuld b pointing down.. dont 4get 2 apply a heat protectant like a chi silk infusion.. after that i usually apply another coat of heat protectant... then heat up ur iron... using a good qualiy iron also matters.. like a chi or a ghd... after that apply a frizz tamer like a biosilk silk therapy.. hope this helps!! contact me ny time!
Could you maybe do a video on how to curl with the straightner? I bought one off of ebay after seeing a display in the mall, and one of the salesmen curles someone's hair beautifully with it! However, I can not figure out how to do it myself. If you could help me with this I would be really greatful! Thanks!!
hi. i really like all ur vids. i was just wondering, if i get my hair permanently straightened, after i wash my hair, will it still be straight, or will it go back to my natural hair?
Nope, your hair will still be pin straight. It's always like the straightening effect is imprinted into your hair's memory. Your hair will return to its normal state once your new hair grows out since the new hair and the root of your hair haven't been straightened.
i thought you said you got the jhs? you still have to straighten your hair after getting that?? i was thinking about getting my hair permenantly straighten but i don't know if it's worth it..does it damage your hair badly? my hair is pretty damaged as is so i don't want it to be worse. and they're charaging beginning at $200 is that good or bad??? they say it's not exactly the japanese straightening system, but very similiar minus one detail but works almost as good..so..i dunno....
I got the permanent straightening about one year ago, and my frizzy roots are kinda growing out. Since permanent straightening is a one-time thing, it's not that damaging. But definitely talk to your hairdresser about it. Mine costs around $150 given that I have a big bulk of thick and long hair. $200 is within the price range, but ask them what exactly are they using (the straightening solution is the part that determines the price). Hope that helps.
she said that they use something call the ross straightening system?? but i can't seem to find any info on it and no one has heard of it. so i dunno, kinda skeptical. and she said $200 is starting, depending on your length and thickness..and i have pretty thick hair as well so i dunno..i really don't know if it's worth it?? is there a lot of maintaining you need to do? like special shampoo and protection and stuff like that?? i just really hate having to straighten my hair a lot. thank you
I've never heard of that system. But japanese solution is the best. If you have thick hair like me, I would really recommend you to try it. There's 0 maintainence. Just don't dye your hair immediately afterwards. I have to admit that permanently straigtening is the best thing that has ever happened to my thick massive hair. I would say $200 is about the right price, but read reviews on that salon and make sure they are providing you with what you paid for. Let me know how it turns out. =)
Hey there, your english is good, no worries. =) In store, there's really not much you can check. I check whether the plates are ceramic, just by looking and tapping. I look at if there's temperature dials and on/off button, just to see how considerate the manufacturer is. Lastly, you can look at whether the brand is well-known. If not, is the packaging decent?
hi!love your videos...hey!I'm going 2 hv my own make up line soon,so i would like 2 send it to u so that u can try it on!how bout that?i frequently watch ur vids n i like u a lot!peace

It gets pretty hot if you hold on to it for few seconds. But it's not hot enough to burn your skin.
