Messerschmitt BF 110 1/72 Scale Plastic Model Airplane

It`s either Tamiya or Airfix..what`ll it be? If you go with the High Planes kit, be ready for some serious flash fever..i speak of experience! The italeri kits are good. Just got my hands on a couple of the old Fujimi C models, but then again the wise say this `un is a bit on the thin side (fuselage) The airfix kit is very impressive beeing an Airfix kit. Been aimin at the LSmodel B-series, but that still is in the future...resin i presume? Eduard, please have a 1:72 field day here ;-)

Thanks for sharing, but I agree with others that it's doubtful that this color of camo was ever used in combat on a 110. But it's your model and time and if it turns you on, more power to you. I will say that I have seen some pics of Tropical Me109s in the Panzer yellow (or something akin to it). I agree with ichmalealsobinich above with his comments.

@demort71 All I did was copy the box art. This is an actual 1973 Monogram kit. No fantasy just a box stock build.

I think you did a fine job..im a modeller and have to say if you got pleasure from making this kit,then thats good.. thats the point to m: ) the next kit i get is gonna get a complete 24 carat gold leaf coating...just for the fun of doing so. if i were you id keep up the hobby !

@atomicdog32 You was right! Plastic modell building is to make fun. The discussion over the correct colouring - although there is in addition good literature availavle - we leave better the aviation historians.

Nice build, your colour scheme is to shinny, problem when using enamels, pays to use Andrea paints for scale effect

Very nice.. I have the latest 1/72 Revell kit, which I think is a re-boxing of this kit?! There's very little detail in the cock-pit.. :)
