Take a hard look at what Jesus and His apostles taught and you might realize liberty, limited government and religious freedom are among the tenants of Christianity. Jesus NEVER preached establishing a theocracy or imposing what He preached on any man. Indeed, 1 Peter 4:15 tells us not to be busybodys.

@Ant42Lee On government, Psalm 146:3 tells us explicity not to trust in princes (princes and kings being government) and the only things the Bible says of kings and princes and their responsibilities is that they be rightous themselves, ensure justice is done and to be sober. On liberty I would again cite 1 Peter 4:15 and the example that Jesus set. On religious freedom I also cite Jesus' example. He leaves it to us to take up our cross daily and choose who we will follow.

I do not understand the full context of this event, so I'm not going to take a stance for or against these people. However, if they are praying to God for our economy and our country, that is not worshiping the wall street bull. That is worshipping God and asking his blessing upon our nation and economy. It did not appear to me that they were worshipping the bull, but rather gathering around a symbol of our economy and praying and worshiping God.

Not once did they say oo mighty golden calf give us our money they were simply praying outside of a certain place for the economy as a whole to get better. Ironic that there was a golden BULL there sure but your gonna sit there and do the thing that most unbelievers cry and say that all christians do and thats judge i can show you a couple of scenes cut it up and make you believe something that never happened i really hope people arent buying this.

Well if you take the bible and follow it astrologically they are praying to the golden bull (taurus) that Moses got upset about. If you take account that the jews still blow the rams horn for (capricorn) whatever reason. Then the 2 fishes/fishermen that jesus runs across then you can see how astrology is in it.
Okay to my point the golden bull represents material wealth so christians praying to a bull is not anything new. I guess people don't know that is all in the stars (literally).

I try to live out faith rather than yap about it, and trust God. I appreciate you pointing out Jesus was born homeless. A 'posh' 'hood nearby doesn't want 200 poor coming to a church once each week for breakfast and a short message. They seek to negate the first ammendment right to freely exercise one's religion, in this case to serve the poor, yet you can bet most would call themselves Christians. I volunteered and donated food, and suddenly I'm offered $1000/month. God saying 'thanks?'
