And ramps some of us have rear loading ramps in the states normally just guys who run local. But for weight reasons most don't bother with them especially because they are just in the way most of the time.

This is a big piece of equipment. It is actually being unloaded from the front of the flat bed. The Driver unhooks and drives off lowering the front portion.

That's the way to carry buckets while transporting them, if they're left loose on the bed they could fall off, and they aren't the easiest to cinch down, grabbing them with the thumb and the installed bucket is the way to go.

what a bunch of brainless comments worrying about scratching the fucking road. the idiot that said dozers won't do a lot of damage doesn't have a clue. dozers have aggressive grousers designed for traction while pushing. hoes have smooth tracks. not damaging road surfaces with track equipment has nothing to do with skill. 80000 lbs of steel is going to leave a mark. they are obviously going to work on this road or they would have put wood down. even if they don't who gives a fuck.

@humanmoron thats a pc 300... its only around 30 tons, you can take that machine and do a full circle; driving each belt in diff directions without damaging the road. the stones in the asphalt will get scratched white but there wont be any damage... unless its a really hot day ofc

Wow man, just wow. i was there that day i shot grade for the basement. to the one that captured this video i appreciate your concerns but not everyone is mean spirited. yes tracked machines can harm pavement mostly on hot days or by mean of poor operators like hitachi650 explained im soo ashamed that i had to work in these subdivisions for soo long dealing with mean spirited people asuming were out to get them things happen these are construction sites yes they will be fixed you arent god

An excavator will not damage a road while traveling on it. It will only scratch the serface of the asphalt. Go drive on it after he was on it. You couldnt even tell. The grousers are not long, like a dozers. The only way he could tear the road up is if he turned in a pot hole, and the tracks snagged a corner. Not a big deal at all. Nice looking machine though. Mabey bran-new. Very clean, and taken care of. The lowboys very clean aswell.
