  • so, i don't mean to be critical or anything, but i'm wondering why you see this as a "bunch of crap"? just wondering, please don't get offended or anything...just curious :)

  • you tripping dude, just because their getting crunk doesn't mean that Christ isn't getting the glory

  • they'res nothign wrong with smoking a joint lol, but there arent such things as holy drive bys, sorry. only the trash of our country do that

  • JackTors2.....We gon pray 4 you.

  • Man, the legalists really came out in droves in these comments.

  • PULPIT PIMPIN, 4 shizzle shout out 2 Mason Betha aka Rev Murda Ma$e & Rev TekYo' Dollar

  • I must have this song now! where can I get it?

  • can someone help me!!! I'm looking for the cd, name, song that came out between 2003/04 or 05. I think the CD was named Underground, it was a gospel rap cd. The cd itself is burgundy in color. and it had this BAD song on there I think it was titled "Hold On". It was a slow groove rap, with what sounded like a song sample to Nas' "One Mic" song. If this jogs anyone's memory please contact me. This song was so good, and its driving me crazy that i can't think of it.

  • @chantelanwilliams I had a CD called Holy Hip Hop: Taking Gospel to the Streets that had a burgundy-ish cover and had this song if thathelps

  • Wow. The ignorance here is despicable. If doesn't have the stereotypical sound it is classified as something wrong in the Christian system? Its all about heart and intent. This song is a glorification of The One and true. Regardless of what people think in there bias ways this song is a blessing for Him. This is another example of people not reading scripture but only listening to what there church tells them.

  • hey don't forget who created music, this song is creative and awesome - who's more creative than the Father.

  • Wow when i first heard this song, i thought man, they really do make you wanna get crunk, but they're hypocrites plain and simple people, and yes it is disappointing

  • @ 2:18...

"We can do it too my (blank)", "yeah my (blank)"... I don't know any other word you'd blank out other then "nigga" in this case.

    VERY disappointing.

  • last time i check a black person saying nigga is not wrong sooo....they aint got nutin to worry bout

  • "There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus." - Galatians 3:28. "For God shows no partiality." - Romans 2:11. According to the bible, racism, and discrimination is a form of segregation amongst God's people; in which He clearly explains is all the same.

We know "nigga" is a segregating racist word. In any context, it's wrong. Sorry but they got A LOT to worry about. And clearly you do too. ;)

  • and what do i need to worry about....just wonderin

  • If you are a true christian you would understand that claiming you serve Christ but using segregating language is a form of stupidity, ignorance and hypocrisy. You not only have to worry about the set of "ethics" and "morals" you're following according to the bible's, but more importantly where your attempted walk of the christian faith is leading you. "If anyone thinks he is religious and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his heart, this person's religion is worthless." - James 1:26

  • Your disappointing re-listen you heard wrong and i've been in person at a concert of theirs they aren't sayin that it goes:

"We can do it too may-n", "yeah may-n"

They have an obvious accent when they say man. u created a bunch of drama from a fallacies statement

  • Don't put blame on me because I think it was real important to call into question... Especially when no one could give me a factual correction for 3 months...

You see I've heard many so-called "christians rappers" using racial profanity before and nothing makes me more sick then that.

THANK YOU for correcting me though. What an incredible sensation of relief I feel...

  • Sometimes the issue is not only what others say but how you hear them, it can cause miscommunication and issues such as these but i can't completely defend all christian rappers after all V.I.C. went secular with (of all people) soulja boy, and one of my past favs did the same (nuwine). we just need to pray we can keep Godly artist within the ministry who speak the truth of christ we can at least agree on that.

  • Oh no... I fully agree with you there. What you said was very eloquent and insightful. Wow... I can't believe that V.I.C. was ever not a secular artist! lol That's just crazy...

We must pray indeed for these artists in the christian rap game.

    Ever heard of Shai Linne?

  • No sir

  • i remember the ziklag boyz perfomed at my church.....it was so fun

  • Comment removed

  • I like this music, song, and video. I like music with this type of beat and always want more positive lyrics than what you hear in most of the worldly, nonchristian songs. So thanks Ziklag Boyz. Get Krunk (have fun) Christians! God created music! Just use it for good! We're suppose to have good in this life and the next remember?

  • Ziklag, I had to write to guys to encourage

you in every way. I read some nasty, ignorant

and untrue things here that made me want to

be very mean, but I'm gonna keep it Godly and

say Ain't NOBODY mad but the devil!!!!!!!!!!!

Keep it krunk, I'm a fan 4 life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • To anyone who thinks this group is performing on a lukewarm level, please educate yourself on the roots of hip hop and KRUMP.

  • I teach dance for a Christian value based company named X Company. This music is great for teaching hip hop. Thank you for using a popular medium to reach out guys!

The girls in the video are not dancing provocative, and are fully covered. I use videos such as this one to show my students that hip hop doesn't have to be dirty to be cool. Thank you for showing the world that Christian hip hop does not have to be religiously sounding, but strong to the truth of Christ!

  • Are they saying "Bow down to the Ziklag Boyz?" If so, isn't that rather impious?

  • They're saying "bounce bounce to the Ziklag Boys"

  • actually there saying "bounce bounce with the ziklag boyZ"i used too talk with khul rhema "tico"on myspace...hes a really cool guy!

  • The sad part is, they think they are accomplishing something by trying to fuse darkness with lightness, evil with good. It is like...Christian Satanism. All it does is repel both Christians and Satanists. Do they think "gangsta rap" fans want to hear lyrics that don't mention getting high and laid? Do they think us Christians want to hear "money comin?" I hope they fail miserably.

  • i git dis cd!!!!!!!! i like boogie man 2

  • Unreal!!! Love it!

  • To actually like this, you must either BE a ziklag boy or one of their moms.

  • what would Jesus Do?

    Turn over their turn tables....

by the way Jesus real name is Yeshuah

  • This Song Turned me on to Them. Love ya'll boyz "RAW AND UNCUT FOR JESUS"

  • Do you have ears?

  • Yes DO YOU???????????????????????????????

  • What YEAH I'VE HEARD OF CROSS MOVEMENT. THANK YOU FOR ASKING AND ANSWERING FOR ME MR. WOW, WOW DARE YOU TRY TO SAY THAT I EAT ROTTEN MILK. SORRY YOU HAVE DA WRONG PERSON. I LOVE CHRISTIAN RAP. PLATINUM SOULS, CANTON JONES, DA TRUTH, FLAME, TRIP-LEE, ECT. IMMA NEED FOR YOU TO DO BETTER AND STOP TRYIN TO RAG PEOPLE YOU DON'T KNOW. AND YES I STILL LOVE THIS LOVE SO HOLLA. AND YES I LOVE JESUS WITH ALL OF MY HEART. AND NO I DON'T JUST LISTEN TO ANY TYPE OF MUSIC PERIOD.

  • Funny...doesn't scripture say "God's way is not our way, and His thoughts are not our thoughts"? Show me in scriptures where the Lord said..."be ye like the world, for I will use that to save souls" and I will show you where the Word of God says..."be ye holy, for I am holy".There is to be a difference between the body of Christ and the world.

  • I Agree...Dont Judge A Book By Its Cover This Sounds Like The"Ying Yang Twins" But Its Not Its Holy Hip-Hop..It Praises God It Does Not Defame His Name At All Its Puts Him On High..

  • How is this different from the world?

Why not just buy the ying yangs CD?

I'm not trying to be funny, these are valid questions. If anyone can answer I would greatly appreciate it.

  • The Sound May Be The Same..But What Maters Is If It Is For Lord Jesus..You Dont Here No Cursing Or Pimps And Models..They Are Praising God...How Would You Reach The Youth If The Youth Doesnt Like Slow Praise They Want Some They Listen To..Somthing They Have Fun Listening to But something that praises the lord at the same time.....

  • N lmfao at these lil jon rip offs.

    Making Jesus look bad.

  • three 6 mafia is better than dis.

  • uhh... i dont even know what those moves are exactly - chicken noodle soup sounds pretty funky tho ^_^. but i cant see why they'd be a problem unless theyre provocative towards what God has very clearly said is unacceptable (example and that means ONLY AN EXAMPLE: something with explicit sexual conotations.)

  • I personally love this type of music and about 40 of my 70 CDs are christian rap and the rest are christian rock. We are supposed to worship and praise God with the talents He has given us. These guys get up there and dance and rap because that is what they do best, they are praising God with the talents he has given them. I feel the same way about when people say that you can't have christian hard core rock. They are praising God the best they can with their lives.

  • amen jimboytres!

  • thanks for this discussion amora4u. i love the lord very much too and i cant really picture God complaining abt a way of worship because of the genre of music. dancing like ppl do in a club, is that in itself sinful? nonetheless, forgive me for my sarcasm, i was trying to make a point. love and blessings in jesus' name, amen.

  • The bible doesnt say that dancing with lights and bouncy music is acceptable but it does say that david danced "with all his might" (not doing just a plain 1-2 step) and it says it was in a way that shamed Saul's daughter when she saw him. NIV says that it made her despise him. even so, what's wrong with dancing, bouncy music and coloured lights, where does the bible say its unacceptable?

  • ok lets review what the behaviour in this video exactly is. They're shouting with joy and passion that they're running with Jesus, theyre also expressing that through music to which theyre very energetically an enthusiastically dancing, with fancy coloured lights flashing everywhere. oh dear! SO THAT MUST MEAN HILLSONG CHURCH AND PLANETSHAKERS ALL HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH GOD!!!

  • oh yes of course! i remember the part of the bible where it says that jesus spoke in tongues when the holy spirit descended upon him like a dove! yes i see very clearly that you arent selectively taking scripture out of context and you are indeed reading it in its entirety.

  • ohhh so saints who are truly praising and magnifying God have to be shouting and speaking in heavenly tongues. which part of the bible says that again? i think i may have missed it. and i do suppose that saints who are excited and shouting dont at all in any way enjoy the music that they are praising God to. so because bumpin music satisfies people, then therefore God must absolutely hate it i see... i can understand thats a very biblical rationalisation. i clearly see where you're coming from!

  • wow. excellent conclusion. and i suppose you've interviewed and monitored every person whos heard the song to conclude that. very impressive! i'd agree that dancing and celebrating the glory of our Lord with bumpin music as a gathering of believers is clearly a forbidden act. it makes more sense to stand still and frowning and drooping like we're at a funeral - yes actually that would be a more appropriate way to celebrate the fact that our Lord is risen and alive. Brilliant!

  • really? thats interesting. could you please give the reference to the passages that support that statement?

  • Best song ever! Praise His holy name. Ziklag Boyz=ambassadors for Jesus.

  • This has more to do with tapping a funding source, than it does praising the lord. This is wack music trying to imitate wack music. Come on ya'll let's wake up!

  • Shannon it is people like yourself and the religified church folk that got people on secular artist like snoop dogg, Lil' John, and etc. aren't we supposed to be fishers of men....you can't catch a person of hip hop with chortet music and choirs....You probably thought I believe I can fly was a good Christian song...Stop judging and condeming folks and love others like you love yourself or is that a problem...

  • how can you sit there and lie like there is no difference!!! Show me one woman in these videos that are under dressed.....show me one young man with his pants around his thighs....now I ain't naive either a lot of folks that scream Holy Hip Hop really are not....

  • Hip hop my be frome the worl but it can be transformed just like jlove2311 said.If it is used for a purpose in the holy kingdom of God the it is alright. But we r not to be conformed.God used earthly things to glorify his kingdom.Y can he use hiphop and dancing?I dont beliee it is wrong.

  • well... i wont say he did. but i wont say he didnt because the bible just doesnt say what moves he pulled. But it does say that he danced "with all his might" (not doing just a plain 1-2 step) and it says it was in a way that shamed Saul's daughter when she saw him. NIV says that it made her despise him. even so, what's wrong with dancing like gyrate monkeys in heat? does the bible say we shouldnt dance like that?

  • as christians, we are to "be all things to all men, to gain a few" even. if this music brings the unsaved to the light, let it's truth shine on them. I use christian rap like this group to minister to kids in juvenile hall, and many come to Christ, knowing that christian music doesn't have to be boring and slow.

  • PART TWO

In contrast, a follower of Christ is supposed to act in a changed nature, function, or condition of the world. ... TO BE CONVERTED!!!

Crunk Hip Hop is a current custom of the world and I, being a follower of Christ, will have no part in it nor support it. Like the scripture says, "...prove what is that, good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God." I'm here to prove myself to God. Thank God I'm transformed and not conformed!

  • How U kno if U transformed? Jesus sed U will kno them by their fruits. Fruit of the spirit: Love, Joy, Peace, longsuffering, goodness, Faith, Meekness, Temperence against such there is NO LAW. If music shows it it's legit. If Not it's trash. Dont get me wrong... i threw away some Gospel Hip Hop, Rock, etc... because they dont display this.

  • yes, we are supposed to be transformed by christ and shouldnt conform. but tell me... what is wrong with hip-hop? is it wrong to dance? dancing is scattered all through out the old testament. david danced. is it wrong to have a party and celebrate the glory of our god in a group? they did it in the book of acts.

  • PART ONE

Rom. 12:2 says, "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God."

Conform-To act in accordance with current customs or modes.

Transform-To change the nature, function, or condition of; convert.

Hip Hop originated from the world. So to sum everything up, a follower of Christ is not supposed to act in accordance with the current customs or modes of the world

  • Paul became a Jew to win a Jew. To the Greek he bacame a Greek. Why? He loved them so much. How else is he able to reach them. If you're led of the Spirit you are not under the law. ALL things are lawful but not ALL things are expediant. Read 1 Cor 10:26-33. There's a time and a place for this genre of gospel. It's not my only tool to reach people. And I literally travelled the world to reach people.

  • In Colossians the bible says to do ALL things (Word or Deed) in the name of Jesus (including music)FAITH cometh by HEARING and HEARING the Word of God.That's what seperates Hip Hop from Holy Hip Hop is the LYRICS. Remeber it's not about SEEING but HEARING.JESUS says what comes out of a man defiles the man...not what type of music genre you play. Make a joyful noise!

Apostle Paul said I became ALL THINGS to ALL MEN that I by ALL means SAVE SOME.

  • You obviously do know your Bible to well. The scripture that you are using is taken out of context. I'm working right now, but this evening I will deal with this misuse of text. Look for anoter comment from me with the same scripture that you used in the correct context.

  • thatz hot yo!

  • LETS GET CRUNK! LETS GET JESUS!!!

  • get Jesus

  • it says we're reaching out to the unsaved in the hip hop community through their own music.

its what I do, and its what many other artists do with their God given talent to rhyme, or praise Him otherwise.

  • keep doing your thing the bible says make a joyful noise unto the lord so keeping givin him glory

  • yeah boi

  • Good Lord, I didn't know they had a music video, hehe, that's funny. Also both the songs on here, we danced to, at our youth conference, it was awesome~
