  • I learn more from YT in 3 minutes than from a 50 minutes english class

  • Good demonstration!

  • the four(4) keys to presentations is:

    enthusiasm

the audience will be intrested n what your talking about if you have a good mood about what your talking about

    body language

the audience can tell if your not confident in yourself telling by your body language, so be confident in yourself

    grammar

it'll make all the difference if you made a dinamte presentation if the audience can understand what your saying

    and

    concise

make it short and sweet cause the audience gets bored easily

  • I thought it was fantastic - lol

  • laura is my sister's name but this is not my sister....:o

  • 1:53 Her facial expression is a bit bitchy, just my feeling.

  • lorous is hot. i wanna fuck her

  • The first time I felt bored, the second time I understood all that she said!

  • wat is dis

  • Sure maybe the second presentation was better but it would have been GREAT if her hair was pulled back off her face. Granted her hair was not hanging down over her eye like in the first presentation, but she would have looked polished if it were in ponytail. Thanks.

  • This one was disappointing. I believe you should have used a person who had real communication problems not just pretending to have them. Then we could see how they develop.

Another nitty picky thing is you didn't really mention anything about the preparation she did before her second attempt.

  • Great video! This video does a nice job of showing just exactly how important good eye contact is -- when she's not looking at you, it just seems wrong!

  • My 15YO son has been suspended from school- unfairly in my opinion.

They had to do a presentation on a ‘role model’ & he chose Peter North. He explained how North, a proud Canadian, has used his cultural roots to anchor his amazing 20yr+ career in the Adult business, & how few mainstream actors can match his stamina & reliability in front of camera. All the products endorsed by North were displayed to show the man’s business acumen.

He’s naturally very upset at being punished like this.

  • she is acting o.0

  • yup she sure is acting.

  • Annoying. Why did he say the initial performance was fantastic when it clearly wasn't. False praise is no praise at all. She was obviously rehearsed to act out a before and after performance. I would say her technique was still not good after the advice received. You need to emphasize specific points rather get through a passage. Still not maintaining constant eye contact and she has a dull unattractive speaking voice. Now those comments are sincere.

  • Talk about connecting with audience. Having an actor and teacher roleplay makes it sound like they are just talking to each other and not having direct interaction with their actual audience. US. They should have video in which the teacher is talking to us and not an actor. That is just old, cheesy and unprofessional. They Need to Improve on their presentation skills first and than teach us. Overall, this is not an insult just an feedback. Hope you take it positively :)

  • why the fuck is the old man teaching her and not teaching us, the viewer? why use an actor that's just cheesy.

  • Interesting stuff... I've put together an interactive public speaking training and would be interested in your views...

  • I actually paid more attention to the first presentation. Probably because I was trying to find flaws. Second presentation it sounded like the content was different and made me want to sleep.

  • For a presentation, to come out with best results - Here are my tips.

    1. SME - The speaker should be a subject matter expert. He should know everything about the presentation he/ she is about to present.

    2. Enthusiasm - Yes. Its vital, however it has been seen, with enthusiasm, people tend to use High Pitch, Higherver Volume or even a Higher rate of Speech.

For more tips, respond to my post, I will share :)

  • @dvirusd I'm in 8th grade and I have to start presenting projects without partners and I don't like being in front of crowds, even if it is people I know.

  • @ThisHolographicLife I understand and we all have these feelings. Just be confident about the material you have to present, go up there with a smile and start. Be confident and remember its not the worst thing!!

  • @dvirusd i know its a year since you posed your message, if you do have more tips, please do share ... :)

  • @jasminea123 If you look below I just responded to another guy.

Ask me questions and I can respond. 500 Characters is too less to explain how a presentation should be made. It depends upon how long, part of the day etc. etc. Just a lot of factors....

  • @dvirusd

    indeed your right!!

I need to revise my topic thoroughly, in order to be confident enough to reply to questions on a field i am not familiar with. I am going to be doing a talk on my thesis ( research project) which i spent 3 months on.

However in my first presentation, i managed to pull a first, of 75% which was impressive, but that was on a chosen topic of my choice. But the thesis topic seems to be abit trickier.

  • @TheDeluxeproductions Hi - If it is a live presentation, just sweep your head from left to right and then back (Very slow) and don't make it look robotic. It gives an impression, you are paying attention to everyone. Keep breathing on a regular basis, don't breathe heavy, you will run out of air, because the adrenaline will make you breathe very fast. Keep yourself calm, think of it as teaching kids and everything goes fine. Whatever happens always let the audience see your hands, open gesture:)

  • enthusiasm is key. how can your audience beleive what you are saying if you are not toatly convinced..

  • Great before and after!

  • Great tips very helpful. Interesting how such small changes can completely change the impact a presentation has. Also shows how presenting to video can help train your technique.
