Joker's probably rooting for Batman to win. There is no Batman if there is no Joker. It kind of ruins him. You saw the way Batman was carrying Joker at the end. That's one of the greatest evil plans ever. Making sure a hero can't save someone.

@f38stingray Well, yeah. But he doesn't detonate them initially, gives him more time to escape, and even warns him when he's about to detonate them for real.
