this things looks killer in person... video and pics do not do it justice....at 13 grand its a steal....kinda lets the people who spent 40-100 thousand on a custom bike know what a waste of money it is....honda makes good quality shit and now they gotz style with this one...I want to buy one next year when I cans get extra bread
The new Harley 96 runs too hot and the crank and timing chains can pack it in, leading to catastrophic engine failure. Plastic last 1000 years and radiators keep the motor cool.
Can't say I recall it off the top of my head. But either way my Honda rides just fine on the roads my American tax dollars pay to maintain. I would love to see your bike... I am sure it's a beast with only American Made parts from American Materials... *ponders* never mind HD can't use the Made in USA seal because they don't meet the US Gov's guidelines. Enjoy riding motorcycles & be safe doing so. It's not what you ride, it's how you ride.
It saves weight (good for MPG and handling) and cost.
As a matter of fact, Harleys are using more and more plastic now. My 2006 VRSCR Street Rod has a plastic rear fender. My dad's 2005 Sportster 1200 Custom also has a plastic rear fender. I've seen this on all the bikes when at the dealer.
It doesn't make sense to always use heavy steel (or any metal) everywhere. Use it only where it really makes sense. This is something the die-hard Harley guys can't seem to comprehend yet.
nice... i seen your pictures on the Fury Forums... sweet ride man!, i put some money down on the matte grey one, i cant wait for it to come in!, hope to see some more fury vids from ya!
Not a bad price... I don't mind paying a bit extra for Honda branded parts though. I expect on spending about 5-10 grand or so on goodies when all is said and done on the bike... so it's all good :)
@Iudacrustpizza That's because it's magical plastic. It holds an enchantment that's +85 to resist oil leaks and breakdowns.

Have you heard ac/dc Harley Davidson song? maybe you should. Foreign bikes don't belong on american roads!

Odd...seems domestic vehicles use plastic and parts from foreign companies like their going out of style.
Still looking for the "Made in the USA" badge on a stock HD :p [I like HD, just making a point]
