Daryl: One year ago I visited from Canada and walked the Sydney harbor bridge and saw a your my world past after 35 years, John Cave. On Oct.5, 2011 It will be exactly one year, he left to sing with the angels in heaven. Thank you for being there for me. Your voice and song lives inside me and remember you are a major factor in my life forever. Thank you. xx tequila484
I remember Daryl singing this on the 1975 TV Week King Of Pop awards a few days after Jeff (their roadie) had died in a car accident. We were all in tears.
I love this song, and been looking all over the internet for it. but can't find this version for download. the one on itune from daryl himself in solo is just not the same as this sherbet version. IF anyone know where I can download, buy, or get this song in this version somehow, I would greatly appreciated. This is the one I lister to when I was younger then.
I'm pretty sure Daryl made his best version of this song. I like this version the most but I'm not sure where you can get to download from...sorry for that :(
@a9998888 - SommieReturns got it wrong IMO - this was always a Daryl Braithwaite solo hit, not Sherbet. I have this track on a DB Best Of compilation CD.
As a young fella growing up in the 70's it wasn't cool to like Sherbert as they were a "chick thing". However I always thought that Daryl Braithwaite's version of this song was great and was happy when my sister bought the single so I could listen to it and not have my mates slag off on me for it.
I know what you mean and I totally understand but...Sherbet is like my guilty pleasure I just can't help but falling in love with them they're sooo adorable and I don't think their music is that bad either! Especially this version of the song really is my favorite...I think I'm just blindly in love with them! haha xx

@a9998888 I've ever listened the version by Sherbet when I was young.
But this version by Daryl is though as not the same as the one by Sherbet,
I like it. Still I like to listen the old version one. Thanks for uploading.
