But Brenda Russell has her own style, as Nina does hers, and while this song will always be a Brenda Russell original, Nina's rendition is both delightful and refreshing, and a wonderful tribute to the great Miss Russell. I saw her perform this live last night and had chills all over.

just like this.. when you restore example a vintage car make sure you restore it 100% proper or much better and shinier than the original built before you introduce it to others, IMHO much better if you do that in acoustic version rather than a full band.. nina is a great singer there is no doubt, but when i heard this i wanted to hear the original version to refreshen my ears.. my little opinion as a musician too..to the musicians .PLEASE play your instruments seriously,gracefully with passion!
